I woke up the next morning to my alarm going off. It's was the last day of the school week and then i could relax throughout the weekend. I checked my surroundings, I was down in the basement and Tristan was nowhere to be seen.
I decided to get up and get ready. Today I wore a normal black skinny jean with rips, a plain white shirt, with a leather jacket and to complete the look my black and white converse.
"Alex!" I shouted across the house
"In the kitchen" he replied
I walked to the kitchen.
"Let's go" I said
We got in the car and drove off not speaking once again.
"So How was school yesterday?" Alex asks breaking the silence
"Good" I said
"That's great" he replied
Soon we pulled up at the school.
"Thanks for the ride Alex" I said
"Anytime Ash, just remember I love you and I want what's best for you" he says staring deep into my eyes
"It's fine, I can take care of myself" I say back
"Just be careful Ash" he says before I close the door and head towards my first class
"Hey nerd" I turn to see Tristan
"More like a freak" someone says
Tristan and I turn our heads to see Amber.
"Amber back off" Tristan says
"Can't the freak talk for herself" Amber says
"Just leave her alone" Tristan says
"I know it was you two that trashed my wardrobe" Amber says taking a step towards Tristan
"Oh wow accusing us, why don't you go find something better to do" Tristan says
"Trust me, I have some many other things a I could be doing right now" she says smirking
I stand there watching. I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out, only muffled noises.
"Yeah like what, paying someone to do your homework" Tristan says and I can't help but laugh
"Oh so the freak can laugh but not talk" she says
"Just leave her alone or else you are going to become Brent number two" he says threatening her
She opens her mouth to speak but quickly closes it. She turns on her heel and walks away.
"Come on, we are going to be late" I say grabbing his hand
"I swear that's all you think about" he jokes
Soon we were in our seats and listening to Miss Roberts. My phone vibrates in my pocket

Tristan: tonight we have a break
Me: Why?
Tristan: it's Friday night, they are both probably going to be home
Me: true
Me: so when do we strike again?
Tristan: Saturday
Me: why?
Tristan: because this girl in my gym class is hosting a party on Saturday and they are both probably going to be there
I started typing but before I could finish, my phone was snatched out of my hand.
"Ashley, why are you in your phone during my lesson?" Miss Roberts asks
"Sorry I was just checking something" I say
"Well you can get it back at the end of the day" Miss Roberts says
"Looks like the nerd found a solution to her quietness, she can text instead of speak" Amber says aloud to the invite class causing many people to start laughing
"Guys stop" Brent says
I turn my head to face him and our eye catch for a second, he now has a blue ring formed under his eye.
"You shouldn't be talking Brent" Tristan says
"Everyone stop right now!" Miss Roberts shouts
The class goes silent and she continues talking and before I know he lesson was over. I wait for everyone to leave before collecting my phone.
"Sorry Miss Roberts" I say
She hands me my phone
"Don't worry I know what it feels like, I was a teenager too once" she says with a giggle which caused me to laugh
"Thank you Miss Roberts" I say
"Now go eat lunch" she says
I walk out her class and see Emily.
"Hey Em" I say
"Hey Ash" she replies
"Let's go eat" I says
"So where did you and Tristan disappear to yesterday?"She asks
"Oh he felt bad for me, so he dropped me at home" I say
"So that's it" she questions
"Yeah" I said
I wanted to tell her what happened with Tristan and all about the revenge plot but the thing is, am I allowed to tell anyone. I will just ask Tristan tomorrow.
"Hey nerd" Tristan says taking a seat
"Hey Trist" I say
"So do you need a ride home?" He asks
"Yes please" I reply
I try to avoid Emily's eyes because I know she could tell I was lying earlier.
"Let's go" he tells me
"Where to?" I ask
"Class" Tristan said
"But there is still a couple minutes before the bell rings" I say
"Just come Ash" he says
I get up.
"Bye Emily" I say
She waves and watches me leave.
"What do you want?" I ask him
"Come there is a change of plans" he says
"What?" I ask
"I overheard Amber and Brent talking, they are going on a date tonight and afterwards they are going to Brent's house" he says
"So we go to Brent's house while they are on a date and then to Ambers when they are at Brent's." I say finishing his sentence.
"Smart girl" he jokes patting my head
I laugh.
The bell rings signaling school is over.
"Come on" he says dragging me to his car
"Yeah" I reply
We got in the car and I took out my phone.

Alex💓 (bro): hey sis might be late to pick you up because of college
Me: it's fine, I am driving home with a friend😘
"Hey nerd?" Tristan says
"Yeah?" I reply
"Why don't you stand up for yourself?" He asks
"I am scared it gets worst" I tell him honestly
" I think you should just stand up for yourself" he says
A couple second passed in complete silence before he said "if it does get worse, tell me"
I watch him as he faces the road and leaves the schools parking lot.
