Chapter 8
Tulad ng ipinangako ng binata, hindi na ito nag-aksaya pa ng panahon upang gawin ang dapat nitong gawin. He courted her. He told her things he wanna clear out. He made her feel special. He made her realize that it was his mistake for being famous in school just being his girl. And opt to change in order to be forgiven.
They had constant communication. Kung maari lamang na halos lagi na lang silang magkasama upang lagi silang magkausap ay iyon pa ang kanilang pipiliin. But because they are committed to their studies first, they both prioritize it. They didn't just jump into conclusions about certain matters in their relationship instead they talk about it and decide which among the options best suits them.
They remained like this after the said incident. Scott promised her too that he would do his best para lamang maprotektahan siya and he really did. And because they are always together after school, hinayaan na rin ng kanyang ama na ang kasintahan na lamang ang maghatid sa kanya sa kanilang bahay. Binawasan na rin ng ama ang mga body guards na naninigurado sa security ng anak. Kaya nama'y pabor para sa kanya ito dahil less gurads means more freedom. Yun lang at need pa niya magpaalam sa kasintahan kapag may mga lakad siya with friends.
Hindi rin naman naging mahirap sa mga kaibigan ni Zhyrie na pakitunguhan ang binata. May mga pagkakataon pa nga na nakakasama ang mga ito. May mga pagkakataon lang na nasasabi ng mga ito na dala ng inggit ay gusto nilang magtampo ngunit kinalaunan ay magkakasama silang muli.
Ethan on the other hand congratulated her for the success of their relationship but after that she didn't have any news about him. Lumipat na kasi muli ito ng paaralan.
Weeks turned into months, as months turned to years. AFter they graduated they work at two different companies pero di pa rin nawawala ang sweetness nila sa bawat isa. They go to out of town trips, celebrate their monthly anniversaries, go to places they never been, Text a lot during their break time, call during out of town gatherings and lastly visited their families and continue to build the bond between Scott's family and hers.
Even though she is protected by her loved one, there are instances when it is out of hand.
But what mysteriously confuses her is the presence of someone who kept on saving her but all she can have is the feeling of that someone. She don't know his/her face. She don't know the motive or reason behind it. She don't even know the existence of it because during these strange cases she only hear a whisper and afterwards everything just happen.
She believed that everything happen for a reason. The only problem is that her logic can't cope up to what's happening. She kept on thinking what and why but she can't answer the fact that it really did happen.
"Are you alright?", pagtatanong ni Scott. He hurriedly went to the spot where she is located after receiving a text message from her friend Zoey. He was told that muntik muntikan na siyang mahulugan ng isang mixer mula sa isang under construction na building di kalayuan sa kanilang work place. As expected she was unconcious because of the shock but she's fine. She cheated death more than once.
"Yeah, what happened?"
"Zoey texted me to go dun sa ginagawa na building. Somebody told her na ndaisgrasya ka daw dun. Nung duamting ako may mga nakapaligid sa'yo.Nag-alala ako lalo na nang makita ko yung cement mixer. Akala ko nadaganan ka na", halos lumuluhang saad ng kasintahan.
Pinilit niyang inalala.
*Oh that one.
Yes I can hear screams.
I can hear them shouting at me.
I heard them telling me something was falling down.
But when I looked up it was to late to react.
I can't even move myself to dodge it.
Then sudddenly....
"Are you sure you're okay?", pag-aalala ng binata. "You're blacking out again. Wait I'm calling the nurse-", di na natuloy na saad nito
nang nagsalita siya.
"No don't I'm fine. Don't worry about me", bagama't mejo nahihilo pa any nagawa niyang ngitian ang kasitahan. Tumabi naman ito sa kanya at binigyan siya ng isang
halik sa noo at pagkatapos ay niyakap siya nito.
"Don't scare me like that okay? I'm afraid to lose you", at muling yumakap ito ng mahigpit.

"That's weird, di mo yata kasama si bf ngayon?", nagtataka antanong ni Chelsie.
"May business appointment siya now kaya di ko siya maaaring distorbohin", pagpapaliwanag ni Zhyrie.
"Ah ganun? At ako naman distorbohin mo?"
"Sira!"
"Lika pasok ka muna", at pinapasok siya nito sa bahay. "Di na kita tatanungin kung anu gusto mo, kuhanan na lang kita."
"Thanks", pag balik naman ng dalaga ay may dala na itong mga pagkain.
"Bakit ka nga pala naparito? May problema ba?"
"Nothing in particular."
"Naku girl kilala na kita. Di ka naman basta-basta na lumalapit sa amin ni Zoey pag wala ka problem. Ibuhos mo na."
"Haha. Ikaw talaga. Actually there is something bothering me since college", pagkukwento niya.
"Anu naman yun? Si Scott ba?"
"No. Di related sa kanya. It's about something else.
