Billie's POV
The next day was horrible. I can't believe that I still had to go to school with these annoying people I didn't even like, but I guess that's what I have to do to get into a good college.
I was walking toward the school, you know same dog I always see, just different temperature. It was freezing and I wanted to be in my bed with three blankets and then sleep until 12 PM.
I loved how whenever it was cold I could see my breath, no good meaning, but I just like seeing it? It's like smoke coming out of your mouth, like you're a dragon and dragons are cool, I guess.
"What the hell is wrong with me?" I asked my myself.
This feeling was weird, like, everything I loved as a child came back to me. Do I miss being a child? Yeah, I do. It's so simple, I got to watch The Bee Movie just because I thought it was funny how a human being fell in love with a bee.
There it was, the gates of hell waiting for me.
"Hey, Billie!" a voice spoke behind me.
I turned around, "Oh, hey, Avery!"
"I like your outfit! Where'd you get that jacket?" she asked me.
"From the thrift store. That's where I get most of my clothes, and thank you," I told her.
"No problem! Oh, there's Lucas and Alexander!" she exclaimed.
I kept walking with a frown on my face.
"Are you coming?" she asked, looking worried.
"Uh, do you want me to?" I asked her.
"Yeah, c'mon Billie, it'll be fun," she said grabbing my wrist, and pulling me toward them.
I really didn't want to talk...to anyone.
Ezra's POV
I was with Cyrus and he was talking about a girl he went a date with.
"She was cool. I mean it wasn't Mandy Hardlock, but damn close enough," Cyrus told me, eating a donut.
"Oh, please, Mandy Hardlock isn't someone you'd like to date. She's horrible!" I told him.
"Well, I wouldn't know I've never talked to her," he said.
"Don't."
Cyrus went on a date with Carly Sonna. One of the most annoying girls I've ever met. He said she was cool and not annoying, but just really funny? Then again, Cyrus hasn't ever been with a girl. Never had a crush on one. Seems to me he's only been friends with one.
"Hey, Ezra and Cyrus. Comin' to the party on Friday?" Jason Corbat asked us.
"We didn't even know there was one," Cyrus said.
"Now you do, it's at my house. Everyone here at this school is invited," Jason smiled.
Everyone? I mean I'd love to go, but I don't want to see everyone!
"We'll be there," Cyrus said.
"We will?" I asked Cyrus, confused.
He elbowed me in the ribs.
"Alright, see you there," Jason waved.
"Are you kidding me?" I slapped Cyrus.
"What? I want to go and I don't want to go alone," he said.
"Ugh, fine," I groaned.
