Chapter 4
I stayed in my room for days. Or maybe a few weeks. I don't know, I lost count. It's more depressing, now that I can't go out for probably an eternity.
"I'm so sorry your Highness, your legs are perfectly fine. I've never seen anything like this before..." he said Dr. Martin, our family's royal doctor as he shook his head in disbelief.
"It's okay, Martin. You've did your best." I sighed.
"I'm very very sorry, I'll try my best to find a cure for you." he said softly as he left my room.
When the door shuts, I hugged my knees, burying my face into my legs, not wanting anyone to see me. I cried. What if I can't walk forever? Will I be in this room forever? What will my life be? I was scared, and that same fear edging closer and closer just like before.
Anna came into my room and gasped. "Elsa?" her voice shaking a little.
"W-What?" I lifted up my head. My eyes widen and I gasped. My usual light lavender purple walls are now all icy blue. I'm freezing things subconsciously-again. I stared at my hands. Images of my unpleasant past appeared in my mind.
Anna was jumping too fast, and I couldn't make the snow pillars fast enough to catch up with her. I slipped on my own ice floor. Literally. I sent some of my magic to make something soft for her to land on but I was too late. My magic powers hit Anna in the head, making her fall, hard on the floor.
"ANNA!!!" I shouted as I ran to her side. A streak of white hair appeared on the spot I hit her. "MAMA, PAPA!!" I screamed, as I held Anna closer to me. Her body was ice-cold and I tried warming her up by hugging her. I froze the whole room because I was too afraid. "No this can't be happening" I whispered to myself.
"It's okay, Anna. I got you." I said while hugging my ice-cold sister. The door was opened forcefully as my power froze the door, making it tightly shut. "Elsa." I heard my mother calling my name, worriedly but as soon as she saw her younger daughter, laying unconscious on the floor, she gasped and ran straight to Anna.
My father, worried but still calm, he ran to me and Anna. "Elsa. What have you done? This is getting out of hand!" I startled. That was the first time my father shouted at me. "It was an accident. I'm sorry, Anna." my voice shaking a little. My mother's eyes widen as she held Anna, noticed that her body was freezing cold.
"Anna, stay away from me, I don't want to hurt you!" I placed my hand in front, not wanting her to get closer to me. I backed away from her. "Elsa..." she took a step closer.
"Anna, please. I don't want to lose you again." I said, not forgetting the fact that I froze her once and i had no idea how to cure her. Now that I'm losing control over my powers, there's no telling on what i can do to hurt her now. "Just stay away and you'll be safe from me..." I added.
Suddenly, I felt someone hugging me from the front. Anna. "Anna, I told you that-" I was cut off by Anna. "I don't want to lose you too..." she sobbed. She quickly walked to the door after saying those words.
Before she left my room, she said softly, "I'll find a cure to this, I promise." and closed the doors.
And she never came into my room ever since. I've must have putting a lot of stress on her, now that she's replacing me until my full recovery and she promised to find a cure. I felt bad. How much trouble I've caused her. "I'm sorry Anna." I whispered. Wow, Elsa. What a good elder sister you are. And you've promised your parents to take care of her. All you cause now is trouble. Nothing but trouble.
