I walked out of my tent.
"Morning Mother," I smiled at my mom.
"Morning Nathaniel," she smiled.
"Where's father?" I asked.
"He got called in early for a meeting with Washington," she replied.
"I see," I nodded.
I walked out of my moms tent.
My father nodded at me as he announced
"We have received word that New York has sent many of their troops to Pennsylvania. Leaving them with about 60. We can over run New York and take it for America!" He yelled.
Our fellow men cheered.
He explained the plan.
I was to ride in with my father Major Ben Tallmage and a few other men including Caleb, who was like my honorary uncle along with Abe.
Men were packing up. After I packed up my tent I helped my mother and father with theirs.
"Anna? Do you want this coat or the one you have on?" My father asked.
"This one is fine, but keep the other one else in case someone else needs it," she replied.
I was in uniform since we were going into a battle.
"Oh, you look handsome in your uniform," she beamed.
"Thank you Mother," I smiled.
"My two brave boys," she smiled.
I hugged her.
"Now off with you! You have a colony to take!" She smiled.
We rode out. We galloped towards New York.

We were just out side the city when we rode in our guns pointed. We had the main city surrounded.
"Drop you weapons!!!" Washington yelled and soldiers went and disarmed Red Coats. A shot fired breaking glass.
"I said DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND NO HARM WILL COME!!!!" He yelled again.
They lowered their weapons. We had all of the Red Coats in a shop.

~~~~~ Adella~~~~
We were eating lunch. Mothers friend had left.
"Father!!!" I screamed.
They both came running as we heard a shot.
My father grabbed his gun. But before he could open the door Rebels broke in. My mother screamed. My father readied his weapon. Pushing us behind him and in the stair well. My mom pushed me behind her.
"Drop your weapons!!!" A man yelled.
I was guessing he was Washington.
My father seeing as he was out numbered set his gun to the ground. Two soldiers came forward and pried him away from us. They pointed there guns.
"Father!!" I screamed.
"You two over there!!" A major yelled.
We hesitated.
"Over there!!" He yelled again.
We moved into the dinning room. My mother still pushing herself in front holding my hand.
"New York is now Rebel Territory!!!!!!" He declared everyone cheering.
They pushed my father out through the door.
"FATHER!!!!!" I screamed.
"ANDRE!!!" My mother yelled
"Be strong!! It will be ok!" He yelled.
"You two sit down," A captain yelled.
~~~Nathaniel~~
They quickly sat. Their daughter was stunning. Much to stunning to still be unmarried and yet, she had no ring. Wait! Why was he even dwelling on this!?! She was for the crown. Her father was a major!
They sat in silence still clutching each others hand.
"Nate! We've done it! We've got all those bloody red coats in the prison! We've got them all locked up!!" Caleb came in grinning.
"That's fantastic!!! New York for America!!!" I yelled.
"That's right!!!" He laughed.
"What do we do will all of the maidens?" I asked.
"Why I don't know! You should ask your father. He be around her any min- Hey Benny!!!" Caleb laughed clapping him on the back.
"Son! We did it! New York for America!!" He yelled.
"New York for America! Father what should we do with the maidens?" He asked.
"Washington says to keep them in there homes, UNHARMED!!!!!!" He emphasized.
"Of course, and the soldier of the Red Coats and the Major?" I asked.
"Washington is deciding..." Ben replied.
I nodded.
My father left.
