Eve x Reader: Flowers for You (Part 2)

One month later, (Name) went to the concert with her friend. She took the day off in order to attend it and she couldn't be any happier. After all, she was finally going to see Eve: her favorite utaite! This would her first time ever seeing him in real life because Eve always went to events and concerts that didn't work for her.

The concert began with a bang. It starred some of the most popular utaites and (Name) and her friend were having the time of their lives. That is until (Name) saw Sou take the stage. He came out singing Alien Alien by Nayutalien; even though she was cheering for him at the concert, she couldn't shake off the idea that she's seen him somewhere before. She's never seen Sou in concert before, so she must have seen him on the streets somewhere.

She cheered for him when the song ended the song ended and the next song started up almost immediately. (Name) was practically jumping up and down when she realized that it was Eve's song, Ano Ko Secret. However, when Eve got onto the stage, (Name) gasped instead of yelling with all of the other fans.

She didn't recognize him immediately as Eve; she saw him as the customer that came every week to the flower shop.

While she stood there in shock, Eve was searching the crowd as he sang along to the music. Sou told him, when they passed each other backstage, that he saw (Name) in the crowd. Even with this large crowd, he was determined to find her.

It was a hard task; he could only see so far into the concert hall. Plus, the stage lights were so blinding that he couldn't see too well beyond them. However, just before the last chorus began, he noticed a penlight not waving like the others. Almost like a miracle, he saw (Name) looking up at him with utter surprise.

He felt a wave of happiness come over him the moment he saw her. Eve smiled widely at (Name) and waved at her directly as he started singing the final verse. The girls around (Name) were screaming when he made those gestures. (Name), on the other hand, just grinned back at him and waved her penlight at him.

To anyone else, it may have looked like Eve was singing, waving and smiling at that moment for all of his fans. But all of it was for (Name) and Eve knew it.

Eve sighed to himself as he put his head on the table. He, Sou, and Natsuhiro Takaaki were all together for a fan event.

"Are you okay, Eve?" Natsuhiro asked curiously.

"He's just upset that he hasn't gotten some flowers in a while," Sou answered as he patted his friend's back assuringly.

"I am not!" Eve mumbled into the table.

"If that's true, then just go back to the flower shop. You haven't been there in almost a month."

"It's not that easy, Sou-chan..."

Eve was way too nervous and embarrassed to show himself to her. Now that she knew who he was, he wasn't sure how to approach her. Since she's a fan of his, things are different now, right?

There was a knock at the door to the dressing room. "Pardon me," called a staff member. Natsuhiro went to answer the door. When the door opened, the staff member said, "There's a flower delivery here."

"Oh?" He noticed the girl beside the staff member holding the bouquet and smiled. "Hey, there. Who's it for?"

"U-Um... It's a delivery for... E-Eve-san..."

Eve immediately brought his head back up and looked back; he knew whose voice that was. His eyes widened at the sight of (Name) in her work uniform. She looked nervous, trying to cover up her blush with the medium sized bouquet in her hands. Eve got up from his seat. "(N-Name)-san..."

She bowed politely to him and held out the bouquet for him. "I have a-a special delievery for you, sir..."

He smiled nervously and carefully took the flowers into his arms. It was a medium sized bouquet with thornless, red roses; yellow tulips; a few cream-colored roses; and moss-covered rosebuds. "Thank you for coming this far... W-who is this from?"

She blushed even more as she fidgeted with her fingers. "F-From Sou-san."

Eve, just shocked from her answer, looked back to Sou. Sou looked back at him with a cocky smile.

"That's nice of Sou," Natsuhiro said, admiring the bouquet. "(Name)-san, was it? Your timing was just perfect; we were all talking about how Eve was upset that he hasn't had flowers from a flower shop."

Eve blushed and nudged him with his shoulder. "She doesn't need to know that!"

Natsuhiro laughed as (Name)'s eyes widened. "Even so, Sou went all out for you."

"Huh?" Eve looked at him confused.

"Well, this bouquet just screams 'I Love You'."

Eve couldn't help but notice how much (Name) was blushing. He knew that red roses meant "I Love You" but he didn't know about the rest. "(Name)-san, what doesn the rest of the bouquet mean...?"

"W-Well... Red roses mean 'I Love You'. T-They're thornless, too, so it also means 'Love at First Sight'. Yellow tulips mean 'There's Sunshine in Your Smile'. Moss rosebuds mean 'Confession of Love' and cream roses mean 'charm and thoughtfullness'..."

"Wow, that's so sweet of you, Sou!" Natsuhiro complimented, looking back to him.

Sou just chuckled. "Me? I never actually told her what I wanted in the bouquet. My only request was that (Name)-san made it and delivered it to Eve today." He smiled at the two of them.

That's when it all came together like pieces to a puzzle: (Name)'s stuttering, her blushing, and her fidgeting. Eve turned back to her and hesitantly asked, "(Name)-san... you made this for me?"

If her blush could get any worse, it did as she nodded in extreme embarrassment. "B-But... I should let you know... th-that while I am a big fan of yous... I-I made this for the customer at the shop."

Eve smiled kindly, feeling all of his doubt from before just melt away. "I don't know what to say..."

"Start with 'Will you marry me'!"

Eve and (Name) blushed together and then Eve pouted at Sou with anger as Natsuhiro was laughing with him. Turning back to the girl, he pulled one rose from the bouquet and held it out for her. "I'm sorry I'm not good at using my words... b-but I feel the same way, (Name)-san."

(Name) gave him a small smile and accepted the rose from him.

"H-Hey, when does your shift end today? If you'd like... I can pick you up from the store and we can go-"

"Hey, Eve, I hope you didn't forget that we have an event in a few minutes," Natsuhiro interrupted, getting a laugh from Sou.

Eve was surprised by their teasing and started getting flustered.

(Name) laughed and then said, "I should be done by five. Will that be okay?"

He nodded enthusiastically. "Then I'll be there at five!"

She grinned. "I should get going, then. Do your best, Eve-san!"

Once the door closed behind her and the staff member, Sou said teasingly, "Geez, you guys are the definition of a lovey-dovey couple." Natsuhiro was just trying so hard to stifle his laughing, but it wasn't working.

"Give me a break, guys!"
