Amatsuki x Reader: House Sitter

(Name) was a kind young woman in university; she was also worked as a pet sitter and baby sitter in her neighborhood. However, one person she always got calls from was Amatsuki, a young man that lived in a house a little way down from her apartment complex. He told her, when he first hired her to watch his house and the pets in it, that he was an utaite that posted videos online and that he often had to leave to attend concerts or fan events. However, (Name) already knew that; she's been a fan of his for quite some time and it felt almost surreal to know that she lived in the same neighborhood as one of her favorite utaite.

After watching his pets and his house often for the next few months, (Name) found herself falling in love with Amatsuki again; she was falling in love with him for who he truly was and not from what she saw through a screen. However, she didn't know how to tell him or if she should say so. (Name) worried that it would bother him and distract him from his utaite work.

She was called by Amatsuki to look after his house and his pets for three days; which she accepted happily. On the third day of her stay and her job she got a call as she petted one of Amatsuki's three cats, Rin.

With her free hand, (Name) answered the phone. "Hello?"

"(Name)-san, hey!" said a familiar voice in a happy tone. "The event just ended."

"Good work, Amatsuki-san! How did it go?" she asked with a smile. Hearing Amatsuki in a good mood always made her day.

"It was a lot of fun!" He sounded so full of energy after all of the singing he did. "I'll tell you once I get back! Oh, by the way, I might be coming a bit later than I expected. Maybe around 9 at night...? Is that okay with you?"

"Of course, it's fine! If you'd like, I can make dinner for you."

"Y-You don't need to worry about me, (Name)-san!"

"I insist, Amatsuki-san. It's always better to come back home to a homemade meal, you know."

There was a short amount of silence and he said, "T-Then I'll look forward to it! Y-You can stay over at my house for the night, too. I don't want you walking back to your apartment too late at night."

"W-What? I can't possibly--"

"I insist, (Name)-san," he said in a joking tone, but it was obvious that he was serious. "It'd put me at ease that you're safe at my house. Besides, Rua and the cats love having you around."

"A-Alright... I'll stay over then." She smiled to herself. "Thanks, Amatsuki-san. Come back safely, okay?"

"I will. I promise."

Amatsuki, at his end of the phone call, hung up his phone and noticed his friends snickering at him. "W-What's with those faces?"

"It sounds like your talking to your wife or something," Hashiyan said with a bit of a smile. "Promising her that you'd come back safely is something a couple would do."

"I-It's just (Name)-san! I always hire her to watch over my house and my pets! Y-You guys know that!"

"Sure, we know," Itou Kashirou replied with a laugh. "We know all about (Name)-chan. In fact, you always talk about her when you get the chance."

"I-I do not!"

"You do!" Hashiyan and Kashirou said in unison right back to him.

Amatsuki blushed; he had no idea that he talked about (Name) like that. Was it really that easy to see through him and figure out how much he loved her? He shook of the flustered feeling and started getting ready to leave the dressing room. "L-Let's just hurry up and get going soon. Someone else has to use this venue soon."
