(Name) curled into a ball while she sat down on the couch. She went over to hang out with Mafumafu at his apartment, thinking that she'd be fine. However, the pain from her cramps were way more than she expected. (Name) arrived at his apartment only a few minutes ago; it'd look weird if she said that she had to go home.

"(Name)?"

She looked over to Mafumafu, who was sitting beside her. She didn't even notice that he stopped typing on his laptop a few seconds ago and that all of his attention was on her.

"Are you okay?" He looked worried. "You look a bit pale..."

(Name) smiled a bit so that he wouldn't worry. "Y-Yeah, it's nothing."

"Are you sure?' He noticed how she was holding her stomach. "Is it your stomach?"

"W-well, it's not really, um..." The last thing she wanted was for him to figure it out and worry.

Mafumafu went through the possible problems, and his mind landed on one very possible situation. Nervously and quietly, he asked, "Is it... that time of month?"

(Name) looked guilty and embarrassed when he said so. She and Mafumafu started dating a bit recently and the two were good friends before then. However, she was always sure to hide when she was on her period. Especially around Mafumafu. She's heard of so many stories of guys saying that periods are disgusting and gross and she often worried that Mafumafu was also sickened by it.

He smiled comfortingly and put a hand on her knee. "Hey, there's nothing to be embarrassed about, (Name). It's a natural thing for girls. I'm sorry if talking about it makes you uncomfortable... but I just want to know so that I can be there if you need me."

(Name), feeling his sincerity, smiled just a little bit; she was so happy that she had someone like Mafumafu in her life.

"At times like these, you need warmth for your stomach, right? Why don't you lay down in my bed?"

The offer made her noticeably more worried. "B-But what if I get a stain on your beddings?"

He patted her head softly to relax her. "That doesn't matter; as long as you're comfy. But if you're really worried about that, at least let me bring a blanket over." Before (Name) could say anything, Mafumafu put his laptop down and went to grab his coziest blanket. When he came back, he wrapped her with it. "Is this okay?"

She was comforted by both the blanket and her sweet boyfriend's effort. "Yeah. Thanks, Mafumafu."

He sat back down beside her, still a bit worried. "I'm sorry I can't be much help; I don't know much about these things..."

(Name) leaned on Mafumafu's shoulder and hugged his arm close through the blanket. "It's fine. I really do appreciate it."

Mafumafu blushed at the action, but he smiled lovingly nonetheless. He was happy that he could be with you; it's only natural for him to want to support the people he loves. He gently placed a kiss on the top of her head.

"I'll do my research for next time. For now, just give the word and I'll do whatever it is to the best of my ability. It can be anything at all. Just let me know, okay?"

-One month later-

This is awful.

This is the worst.

This cannot be happening.

Just when (Name) was having a great time walking around town with Mafumafu, the worst-case scenario happened.

Her period started.

She started internally panicking; she didn't think it would start today. Even worse, she didn't have any extra packs with her since she thought she would be fine.

Is there a stain? Are people laughing at me? What was I thinking?! This is an absolute nightmare! Oh no, what if Mafumafu is disgusted by this? How could I be so—

Bringing her out of her thoughts, Mafumafu firmly grabbed her arm. She saw a worried look on his face. "(Name)? What's wrong?"

A bit stressed, she stuttered, "U-uh... I-I... I just..."
Mafumafu looked like he had a realization and quickly took off his backpack and then stripped off his jacket. He slung his backpack over one shoulder and held out the jacket for her. "Here, you can put this around your waist."

(Name) was hesitant in taking it. "B-but what if I stain it?"

Rather than waiting for her to take it, he carefully tied the jacket around her waist and was extra cautious to not tie it too tight. "I don't mind, as long as you're okay. I think there's a restroom up ahead. Let's go?" He slung the other strap over his other shoulder and held out his hand for her.

She nodded nervously, taking his hand. When they arrived in front of the restrooms, he pulled out a Kirby-themed zip pouch from his bag. Holding it out with a comforting, relaxed smile he said, "I'll wait for you outside."

(Name) sped-walked into the restroom and walked into the first open stall she saw. When inside, she opened the pouch with a bit of nervousness. She was stunned when she saw what he packed in it; it only confirmed how much Mafumafu thought about her. Since he was unsure of her preferences, he packed two pads and two tampons. He also packed some painkillers and chocolate squares in a clear plastic bag. (Name) blushed. Mafumafu really saved her from her absolute worst nightmare.

After finishing what she needed to do, she walked back outside and met with Mafumafu who looked just as relieved as her. "S-Sorry about that... I'll return your pouch later..."

"Don't worry about it. I'm just glad it worked out." He looked a bit concerned. "What do you want to do now...? Would you like to go home?"

She nodded, still a bit embarrassed. Still she took the initiative and took his hand. "I think so... Thanks, Mafumafu."

As they were walking, Mafumafu anxiously asked, "H-hey, did the pouch have enough? I wasn't sure what would be good and what would be weird..."

(Name) smiled and nodded. "Yeah, you really saved me there!"

Mafumafu blushed a bit, looking away to hide how red his face was. "I-I-I thought of putting a pair of... u-un...u-underwear... but I thought that it would've been weird, so I didn't. B-But I kept worrying about if you had—"

(Name) quickly interrupted, also embarrassed, and said, "Y-You don't have to worry about that, Mafumafu!"

He looked back at her, obviously not agreeing with that. "A-are you sure?"

She nodded, her face still flushed. "M-more importantly... d-d-did you know that I was starting today...?

He only smiled, saying, "I had this gut feeling it'd be soon." He chuckled a bit. "I told you that I'd do my research, right?"

(Name) immediately stopped walking and hugged Mafumafu tightly. "I love you so much, Mafumafu. I really don't deserve your kindness!"
