I sprang from the bed into a sitting position, I inhaled deeply and realized I woke up from a nightmare. Hold on was that a nightmare or was that just yesterday? Eh, I'll remember sooner or later. The alarm clock had been ringing for a while, I guess that's what was urging me to wake up.

Anyway, it was time to help Jay look for his pendant. And if he's going to order something from the cafe i'll make sure that he pays for it himself. I walked to the entrance of the building and peeped for any cops, no sign of any. I left my apartment looking like a suspicious criminal. Surprisingly there were no cops patrolling the area. Jay was across the street, he was holding a pendant similar to the one he lost but in a different color. Ellie, another friend of mine, accompanied him. I guess he asked her to help as well. Ellie was wearing the same clothes she wears every time she goes to a party. She didn't look like it but her speed and agility was insane. She's like a cheetah that jumps wall to wall while simultaneously punching. She still had the same hair do and that same violet highlights. I never knew the reason but she always wore an antique bracelet, maybe it was passed on to her.

"hey guys!" I said "oh hey,Chris" Ellie said in a dull way. "so where should we start to find the pendant?" I said. "We aren't looking here, we'll start at Striodorea" Jay said. As much as I hated that place, I really wanted to help Jay. "Hey how are we supposed to get there? the only way we got there was when your father transported us there."

"Well use this" he raised a pendant "It's the same one my father used" He said "So.., are you gonna use it or...." he stopped me and said "Not in front of all these people" he led us to an area away from the public. He started chanting and I didn't understand a thing he said, so my brain processed what he said.

Jay: Blah blah blah, blah blah, BLAH!

The pendant glowed bright yellow and a dimensional bridge opened. The bridge looked the same from before, it looked like those medieval ones. It always gave me a chill up my spine. We crossed the bridge and once again, I felt a chill. "Ellie" I called to her "What?" she looked at me with the same face she always looks at me. Its as if she's annoyed every time I speak to her. "Did Jay ask you to come help?" she looked ahead "He did, but I only came cuz there's a big party going on at Striodorea, and I'm not missing it".

Well that explains why she's wearing her party clothes. Though I wonder how she found out about a party in Striodorea.

We arrived at Striodorea, the place was kinda medieval-ish. My paranoia for this place was starting, this place is filled with thieves so why not be paranoid? We passed by a bar full of orcs. Iv'e been in there once and causing a commotion will lead to a blood bath, the orcs would go crazy and smash each others heads against the wall or floor. Those guys were always grumpy so its pretty easy to agitate them.

Jay brought us the a magic shop that  was run by a cheat, Mr. Blue. If you wanted something stolen or smuggled then he's your guy. I went ahead of Jay and pushed the door open. the bells rang as we entered and everything that was being sold was creepy and if not creepy gross... "This place is so... weird" "Ew, is that an eyeball?" Ellie said

"Pst, Over here"

We turned our heads back, and I couldn't believe what I saw. Out of all the things I've seen, I've never seen a talking bell. "Hi there and welcome!" it said. Jay walked in front of it "uh, is Mr. Blue here by any chance?" "Of course! He's upstairs". Its voice darkened as if an evil monster had just possessed it "BUT BE WARNED, WHAT YOUR ABOUT TO SEE WILL HAUNT YOU FOREVER!"

We took the stairs to the second floor and I admit, even though I'm immortal I slightly trembled as we walked. Jay wasn't affected by that demonic talking bell, his determination the find the pendant kept him strong. I cautiously put my hand on the door knob "You guys ready?" I said They nodded and stayed behind me like I was a Shield.

I opened the door and- wait is this what the bell warned us about? all that was there was Mr. Blue doing his exercise routine. Ellie and Jay were disgusted so badly that Ellie started walking downstairs "I..I cant take this, you guys just tell whatever happens in there".

"Customers! what might I help you with?" he said while stretching. "We're looking for a pendant, it, uh, almost looks like this one but with more designs but its cyan" Jay explained. a draft came from downstairs, I felt a dark presence behind Mr. Blue. Something was whispered into his ear, I'm not sure if Jay could tell but I could.

"You have it done you?" Jay said "yes I have it, but someone has already bought it off my hands" "what?! you cant do that, it's mine" Jay was getting serious. "Well it's not yours anymore and if you wont buy anything, GET OUT!" Mr. Blue screamed. We got kicked out and the shop disappeared out of nowhere. Can a shop do that?... I guess that's why it's called magic shop. I stared at the open area, bits of dust falling from where it used to be.

"I'm guessing you guys didn't get the pendant" Ellie said                                                                                   "yeah, but we cant give up now at least we know Mr. Blue has it". Jay had a point, it was better than not knowing where it was. "Ellie, aren't you supposed to be at a party" I asked "It's tomorrow, I still got time to help you guys". She continued saying that it was going to be the biggest and best party of the year, In Striodorea though. "So, what now?"                                                 "it's a travelling shop, so this is one of it's stops. We'll just have to wait until it comes back" Jay said "Alright then, what do you guys wanna do while we wait?" I asked. All we really did was talk about what we all have been doing these past months not together.

In the middle of our talk an orc named Gark saw me. That guy was much stronger than all the other orcs and he's kind of mad at me for...... stuff. He immediately ran towards me with the intent to kill me. But then the Shop appeared again, wow what convenience. "Guy's its back!" Ellie screamed "Grab onto it before it changes location again!" Jay said                                                     "Hold on just give me a few seconds to patch up things with Gark" I stood still waiting for Gark to get close enough, I could hear Ellie and Jay screaming at me to grab on.

Once Gark was close enough I smacked him which sent him flying. He went so far that I couldn't even see him anymore, I think I overdid it. Anyway, I grabbed onto the shop and waited. The shop still wasn't teleporting, I'm starting to regret only punching Gark once. "hmm, I'll go check the door if I can get inside" Ellie stopped holding on and walked to the door. The shop teleported the second she reached the front door. Again, what convenient timing. Ellie was left but at least she didn't have to worry about missing the party.
