[11] the live stream

Imagine:
"Shawn are you sure you wanna do this?"
I ask my boyfriend Shawn as I look him straight into his eyes.

We're staying in his condo, struggling about if we should tell his fans that we're a couple.
"I am, 100% and I won't change my opinion. You're the most important person in my life, and I want that my fans know that.
And the other thing is, that I already lied to 4 fans, who asked me if I have girlfriend and I feel bad about lying."
he says and I understand it.
I bite on my lower lip, afraid of the reaction of his fans, but then I say yes.
„Great, I think the best way to do it, is to live stream, so that my fans can get to know you better."
Shawn says happily, kisses my cheek and grabs his phone. I sit down on the couch and check if I look good.
„Darling, you look absolutely stunning, don't have any doubts, they will love!"
Shawn says and gives me more decisiveness. He puts his phone on the couch table, presses the „doing a live stream button" and smiles at me for the last time before he looks again on the phone. I take a deep breath and try to smile and just to be authentic.

The live begins and not even in 10 secs, over 1000 people have already joined. The most comment are like
„hey Shawn"
or
„I love you so much"
but then people start to ask who this girl is. Shawn clears his throat and starts talking
. „So you all are wondering who this girl is next to me, Uhhmm and this is also the reason why I, or we decided to make a live stream."
I get more nervous and just keep on reading the comments, some are right and ask if I'm his girlfriend.
There are already 200K people in the live and now I hear my heart beating in my ears.
My hands are starting to sweat and I try to calm down.
„This ABSOLUTELY gorgeous girl next to me, is my girlfriend yes."
he says and starts to giggle a little bit. The comments are going wild and I don't have the opportunity to read them.
„Woow guys, you're going crazy!"
Shawn says and starts to laugh again. I read a lot of
„omg she's so beautiful"
and
„good luck, you deserve it"
and also some
„aww you're so cute".
I get very happy and start to smile like an idiot. „Thank you guys, you're all so sweet."
I say and kinda surprised that I said something. John Mayer comments:
„Woow the future Mrs. Mendes said something, could I may know what her name is?"
We both start to laugh and I respond with a „Uhhmm so my name is Elenia"
I say and hunderts of comments pop up. I loose my fear and start to relax and to chat more with Shawn's fans. Of course I get hate, but I knew that already before. Shawn and I start to tell our „love story" or practically how we met us.

„Uhm to be honest, I was just walking out of the Starbucks here in Toronto with a pumpkin spice latte in my hand, I was checking my phone and Uhmm.."
he stops for a moment and I burst out of laughing. Shawn joins me and we're just laughing and we even forgot that we're live. After a while we catcher ourself again, we read the the comments and they're are all about why we were laughing so hard.
„I'm sorry for laughing at you Shawn, but this is just hilarious."
I say still laughing a little bit.
„So uhm the reason why we laughed so hard is, that I head out of Starbucks, my gaze was on my phone and I didn't realize that there was a threshold. So uhm yeah, I tripped over it, I fell into Elenia and spilled my burning hot pumpkin spice late all over her."

he says and I still have this scene in front of my eyes and really need to concentrate, to not laugh again. Comments like
„gosh Shawn you're so clumsy!"
appear on the screen and I need to laugh.
„But yes to be honest, I'm really glad that I'm so clumsy, cause if I don't be that clumsy, I wouldn't had meet her."
Shawn says, smiles at me and gives me a little kiss on my forhead. We keep on live streaming for a while and had a lot of fun.
„So guys, Uhmm we have just 2 min left till it's finish, thank you so much for joining, I love you all."
Shawn says kisses his hands and reach them out and blow it to the phone.
„Ohh wait I wanna say something!"
I say and Shawn looks curiously at me.
„I really need to thank you guys for all the love, I thought that I would get way more  hate, but you're all soo sweet."
I say and smile to the camera.

The live ends and Shawn turns around to me, with a huge smile on the face. „You rocked it babe, I'm sooo proud of you!" He says, kisses me and stood up.
