Imagine:

It's a cold winter day, school just ended and I'm walking through the snow back home.
All of a sudden I hear that someone yells my name, I turn around and see Shawn, my best friend.
A smile appears when I saw him.
„Hey Y/N"
he says and hugs me. I reply with a
„hi"
and we continue walking. We're actually best friends since ever, we went together in kindergarten, elementary school and now high school.
„What are your plans for tomorrow?"
He asks while the snow falls down on us. „Actual nothing, it's snowing really hard, so I may just read a good book, cuddle myself in blankets and drink a hot chocolat."
„Nahh, you won't"
Shawn says and I look confused at him.
„Cause we'll go ice-skating"
Shawn says and looks proud at me.
„So you want that someone beats your ass off?"
I laugh and ask him challenged. Shawn is a good hockey player, but I'm ice-skating since I'm 3 years old. We always match us but we're both equal I think.
„You mean I want someone who I can win against?"
He arguments back.
„That's not true Mendes, last time I won!"
I say proudly and I stood with my hands on my hips. He needs to giggle at my gesture.
„Well see, we'll find out who's better tomorrow."
he says and I agree.

Before I go to bed a get a message from
Shawn:
„are you ready to lose tomorrow?"
I roll my eyes and respond quickly:
„you mean if I'm ready to watch YOU losing? Yep I am."
I lay my phone beside and go to sleep.

The next day I walk to school, it snowed a lot over the night. I walk with my EarPods in my ears while all of a sudden something cold catches me.  I don't even have to guess who this was.
„Shaaawn!"
I yell, turn around and see him laughing with another snowball in his hand.
„Hahahaha omg Y/N, this was so worth it to touch the cold snow, just to see your reaction." he doesn't stop laughing, which makes me angry.
I start walking toward to him and as I reached him, I tried to push him into the snow.
Little do I know that he's way stronger than me, so we both landed in the snow.
„God Y/N, now everything is wet cause of you!"
He tries to sound mad, but he's actually laughing.

After school I walk out of my class room and I see Shawn waiting on me. We walk to the ice rink, where we put on our skates. We walk to to ice, I place my foot on it, push myself away, and slide on the familiar ice.
Shawn joins me and we just drive some rounds. „I missed doing it."
I say to him and look over, where Shawn slides on the ice, like he never did something other in his life. We talk about school, about how much we hate the new history teacher and about what best friends just talk about.
„This might be a chilly afternoon, but it can't stay like that."
I can't even ask what he means, cause he already sped up and nearly knocked a kid over. „Just wait my friend."
I say quietly and do the same as he did. He's still in advance, but I don't give up.
I see that a bend is coming, which are Shawn's weak points.
He slows down, still carful cause last time he dropped at this point. That's my chance, I say and pass him. I hear a
„hey!"
but I don't even pay attention to it, cause I just concentrate on winning.
I keep on being in advance and enjoy the feeling of sliding on the ice.
I once turn my head where Shawn is, but I can't find him. I turn my head back, where he suddenly stays and the last thing that he can say is
„stop!"
That's already to late, I collide with him and we both land on the cold ice.
The only thing that we can hear, are our heavy breaths, the „ouch's" and the laughs, which escape our mouths.
„Damnit Shawn!!! Did you have take leave of your senses??"
I say angrily.
„Ouch, I didn't know that we'll collide."
He says while he tries to get up.
„God, you're so stupid, I can't believe that you did this."
„I'm sorry, I just wanted to show you that I won!"
He says while he helps me to stands up. „Uhmm no, you didn't. You cheated and took another way!"
I say reproachfully.
„Ok fine, you won. But I still feel guilty for your pangs. How can I make it up to you?"
He asks while biting on his lower lip.
„There's nothing that a hot chocolat can't fix!"
I say and we both start laughing.

We head to the little restaurant and order our hot chocolates and also two chocolate muffins. I pull out my purse but Shawn stops me:
„Don't pay for that, it's my fault."
he says and I thank him. We take a seat and start drinking chocolate and chatting about everything.
„Soo, I'm the winner right?"
I ask him provokingly.
„Yes you are."
He says annoyedly
„but don't think that this won't get a revenge!"
