The School for Weirdos

PART 1

What Happpens When the Teacher Discuss Boring Lesson

Nina POV

It was 7:00 when I started to walk to school from my boading house. It was really colad outside but I really don’t care. I like cold weather and cold weather likes me.

It was the usual Monday morning. nothing was new. The road is still gray with yellow strips in the center, the stores are still the same, the students are still wearing the same white blouse and black skirt and the sky was still the same sad sky like before.

I sighed.

Last week, our teacher in English said that Change is Everywhere and new things always appear every second. I started looking around.

Is that teacher really serious or what!!!!

The students are still the same no matter how I tried to look at them. change in every second? Come on.

The school was not far from my boarding house and it only took me five minutes to walk in foot. The gate was so densed in people lining up to enter.

I waited for the crowd to melt away when I notice a girl wearing the same white blouse and long dark skirt as a uniform. On her back was a pink jansport backpack. her hair was short dark brown with side bangs. It extended on to her slender shoulders.

I started walking in the crowd triying to cope up with the fast pace of the girl. As I was just in her back, I suddenly tap her back. She squeaked and looked back with a shock face.

“I got you, Kim.” I snickered. Her face was really funny but I better not make her upset because she really transforms into a monster if she does. I don’t want to see her angry side.

“I thought it was someone else. I could’ve punch you, you know that?” kim spoke as she turned away her look from me.

“Don’t be so gloomy. Your making the whole morning sadder than the weather.” I murmured as I was walking beside her.

“I am always gloomy.” She answered back. She didn’t even twitch nor look at me.

“Fine. I’m used to your gloomy side after all.” I spoke releasing my look from her.

We continued walking until we reach the intersection where students will have to separate according to there schedules.

As we turned to the right, the students were becoming lesser and lesser until there were only two of us walking to our classroom.

“Are we too early or late?” I said as I observed when there were less students coming.

“I don’t know. Probably the cold weather makes them tired and decided to be absent.” Kim spoke as she overheard me.

I sighed. Probably she’s right. The weather is really a killer.

We stopped as we reached the last classroom in the third floor with the number 30 written in the top portion of the door.

We entered the classroom and crept inside. The room was so noisy when we entered. I quickly searched for my chair which is actually right beside Kim who was now sitting. I even wonder how Kim can move so fast.

I took my seat and laid my back on the chair. Ah, so relaxing.  Walking early in the morning is really tiring.

“Do we have any assignment?” Kim asked as she look at me.

I paused.

“No.” I answered back.

She quickly took her gaze from me and laid her back on the chair as well. She took her notebook and covered her face with it. Later on, I heard her snore.
