Part 2
Nina POV
We walked right outside the office of the dean feeling the pain of the words that she spoke when we were interrogated.
I felt so weak that day and everything seems to be so dead as I hear the words of the dean echo right into my memory.
The damage of the classroom will be paid by the five of you. It will be added into your usual tuition.
I shrieked as I remembered every words and punctuations that she utter.
“Calm down, Nina. We have no choice but to pay, we broke it.” Mar spoke as we were walking to take our snacks. We were not allowed to go to our next subject due to the incident a while ago.
“I know that! I was even the one who broke the chair but it’s way too harsh. I will surely have the difficulty of explaining it to my mom when she founds out.” I mumbled still worrying about my parents.
“As if you have a choice. You just have to explain it truthfully.” Mich said.
“Then what? I broke the chair because a monster was trying to attack the teacher? As if they are going to believe that. Even the dean never believed us too.” I spoke feeling more depressed than ever.
We all paused.
We tried our best when we talked with the dean and told her about everything but then, instead of understanding us, she sent us to the guidance counselors to be checked whether were okay or not.
As soon as we realize that no matter how hard we try to explain it to them, it’s way too impossible. We dropped the thing and let them think that we were all hallucinating and everything was a prank.
“We’re not crazy right?” Mar spoke in the most depressing voice.
“Why do you say that?” Jay-ar asked.
“Because that monster that we defeated was real and everything was true. They just can’t see it.”
“We’re not crazy alright. We’re just nuts.” Kim spoke in the middle of nowhere.
We stared at her with raised eyebrows. Probably it was the effect of kicking the monsters leg.
“What makes you say that?” Mich asked.
“We’re nuts because it was only us who can see the black hole and the monster. Why do you think is that?”
We paused again. Yeah, she’s actually right. Our classmates never saw that thing at all.
“Maybe because were special?” I spoke.
They all went in silent modes.
“We’re special children but I hope that I won’t see that thing again. I don’t have any plans of slamming another teachers table on a monsters head without even knowing how I did it.” Jay-ar spoke.
“You’re right.” Mich answered back as we continued our walk. “I just hope that it won’t come out again.”
As we were reaching the exit gate, a girl from the intersection road from the other college was running so fast.
She bumped unto us and made us all fall down. We quickly helped her up. She was actually trembling.
“What happened?” Mich asked as the girl was trying to breathe.
She was mumbling words of the unknown when she answered.
“Say it clearly so we can understand you.”
