  Warnings: Sex.

The scent of strawberries flooded his nostrils first. Just the scent was enough to make Shannon's head spin. Then came the touch, smooth skin beneath his palms, warm hands sliding down his arms, chest, making his heart race and his breathing come out irregular.

The lips were soft, the taste and sensations almost too much as they kissed urgently. He pulled back, looking at green eyes. With his hand, he tucked the purple strands behind her ears, pulling her into another kiss.

The feeling of her wetness enveloping his dick almost made him cum. She felt good... almost too good. She smiled, her cheeks red, dimples forming and his heart beat faster.

Her body was intoxicating, moving perfectly in sync with his, their moans getting louder as they chased their orgasms... Almost there now...

Shannon opened his eyes, sitting up in bed. He looked at the clock, checking the time. 6 am. He rubbed the back of his neck, sighing and wondering where did that dream come from.

Sure he found Talia extremely sexy, but he barely knew her. It had seemed so vivid. He groaned as he felt his morning wood. Damn, now that was something that hadn't happened to him in a while.

Figuring he wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep anytime soon, he pushed the covers aside, adjusting himself and heading into the shower. He debated whether he should finish himself off, biting his lip.

He sighed, turning the cold water tap on and soaking his head, pressing it against the tiles.

Shannon wasn't surprised to see the lights on when he let himself into the shop. He locked the door behind him, looking up to find Talia walking to the counter.

"Good morning." Talia said, turning on the coffee machine and brewing some coffee. "Sorry, I'm a little behind on brewing the coffee today. I wasn't expecting people to come in until 8h30."

"Good morning, Talia." Shannon said, walking up to the counter. "It's fine, sweetheart. It's pretty early. How long have you been here for? Did you even go home last night?" Shannon joked.

Talia laughed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ears. Oh god, the dimples were there and were absolutely delicious. She was wearing a loose black t-shirt. "I swear I went home last night." She said, smiling. "I couldn't sleep and had to get some calls done, timezones and all, so decided to come in a little earlier... Hope that's okay."

She handed him a coffee, getting one for herself. He couldn't help but focus on her fingers wrapped around the cup, something tugging at him.

"It's fine. I just want to make sure my employees have free time to do what they like." Shannon said, smiling. "Does that happen often?"

Talia frowned. "What?"

"You... not being able to sleep?"

"Sometimes..." She whispered, casting her eyes down. There it was again. That sinking feeling he had said something wrong.

"I'm sorry. It's not my place to pry."

She shook her head, smiling. "It's okay. Look, I need to get back to the phone. Can I get you anything else?"

"No, thank you, sweetheart." Shannon said.

"See you later, Shannon!" She said, smiling and heading into the warehouse.

Throughout the day he found himself unable to focus on his work, images of that damned dream floating into his mind. He kept stealing glances at the closed door, where he knew she was.

He skipped lunch, going to the shop for a refill on his coffee and something to eat, heading back to his office. He was on the phone with Jared when he heard the crash.

"Listen, Jared, I'll have to call you back." He said, hanging up and racing to find 3 people outside. One of the guys, Clay, was helping Talia up. He made his way over. "What happened? Are you guys okay?" he asked, wanting to push the guy aside and check on her.

"It was my fault." Brad said. "Talia was helping us unload the truck and I didn't see her, so I bumped into her and she lost her footing. I'm sorry, Talia."

There was a box on the floor, Brad bending down to pick it up. "It's okay. It wasn't your fault, Brad. I should've been more careful." She said, taking a couple of steps, limping.

"C'mon. Let's get you to a hospital to get that checked out." Shannon said, reaching out a hand.

"It's just a sprain. I'm okay." Talia said, shaking her head.

Shannon raised his eyebrows. "Are you really going to argue with your boss? C'mon..."

She sighed, taking his hand and letting Shannon help her walk. "I promise I'm fine. We don't have to go to a hospital."

"Just let a professional make sure you're okay. Please, let me do this."

"Okay." She sighed, grateful they had left through the back door. "Thank you."

He helped her get into his car. The drive over was quiet. Once they arrived at the hospital, they didn't have to wait much until she was being ushered away in a wheelchair, protesting she was fine.

He took the time to call Jared and explain what had happened, getting some teasing from his brother. Jared had noticed him distracted at the bbq yesterday and took the opportunity to ask him if it was because of this girl.

Shannon rolled his eyes, maintaining he was simply worried about an employee.

After about 15 minutes, Talia emerged from the doctor's office, her ankle wrapped up in a bandage. "You feeling okay?"

"Yeah. The doctor says it's just a sprain, so no need to worry about it." She said, raising her eyebrows in an "I told you so" manner.

Shannon chuckled. "Well, I just wanted to make sure. You never know with these things... C'mon, let's get you home."

"But my bike is..."

Shannon shook his head. "Just tell me what time do you want me to pick you up tomorrow. I'll make sure your bike is safe..."

"You don't have to do that."

"Please." Shannon said. "Just for today. I don't want you driving around with a sprained ankle and risk an accident. It would make me feel better if I knew you were safe."

She looked up at him, a shocked expression on her face. She sighed, giving in. "Fine. Thank you."

Shannon insisted on helping her walk, despite the fact that she was fine. Truth be told, Shannon couldn't get over how good it felt to have her close to him.

He took her home, arranging the time for the next day to pick her up. She seemed panicked when he offered to walk her up into her apartment, so he dropped it, figuring she would be okay to walk on her own.

He watched her get into the building, his heart racing. He couldn't wait for tomorrow.
