Warnings: Sex.

Shannon opened the door to the house, calling out to Talia. "Talia, you here?" The bodyguard was nowhere in sight, which made Shannon feel a bit uneasy. The mess in the living room as he walked into it made his heart race faster.

He had been away to do some Mars related press conferences and feared coming home to this exact scenario, the panic rising in him. "Talia." He called out louder, heading for the stairs.

The door to the downstairs bathroom opened to an excited Talia, making him immediately blow out the breath he had been holding. "Shannon, you're home!" She said, racing and jumping into his waiting arms. He held her to him, breathing in her scent, trying to calm his racing heart. "I missed you." She whispered, pulling back to kiss his cheek.

"You changed your hair." Shannon said, taking her in. The once purple strands were now a beautiful shade of Aqua. It was slightly shorter too, right by her shoulders.

"Yeah, I got bored with the purple. Sorry about the mess, I was just finishing styling my hair when I heard you calling me." She said, grinning. "I'll put the stuff away and maybe we can go out and get something to eat. Sushi?"

"Sure, sweetheart." He said, kissing her cheek. "I love the new color, by the way. It's beautiful... you're beautiful."

She blushed, smiling and shaking her head. "I'll put the stuff away."

Talia watched Shannon climb the stairs to go put his travel bag away. She had missed him so much, even though it had only been a week with him away. She began cleaning the mess quickly.

After it was done, she headed to the bathroom to put some make-up on. She looked down, figuring the clothes she was wearing were okay. After all, they were just heading out for some food.

She headed to the bedroom, getting her leather jacket and putting it on since it was chilly out. Her heart was racing when she found Shannon in the living room, waiting for her.

He had changed into jeans and a gray t-shirt, throwing a leather jacket on. His hair was loose, framing his face perfectly. Gosh, he's fucking beautiful. Talia thought.

He got up from the couch once she emerged, looking at the dazzling sight she was. "Ready to go, beautiful?"

She smiled, nodding. "Do you mind if we take my bike? I miss driving it."

"Anything you want, beautiful."

They headed out, Shannon sitting behind her on the bike, holding on to her waist. Talia's heart was racing at the feel of his breath on the back of her neck. There was something familiar and comfortable about having him back. She realized how much she had missed him.

The drive to the restaurant was a quick one since there was barely any traffic on the highway. They were seated fairly quickly with drinks in hand. "So, where's Christian?" Shannon decided to ask after they were settled.

"He had an emergency to take care of. He was going to ask a friend to come and stay with me, but I figured since Adrian is still out the country, it was no use." She said.

Shannon blew out a breath. "I would prefer if someone stays with you at all times, especially if I'm away, Talia." Shannon said, reaching over and clasping her hand in his. "It's especially hard for me to be away from you. Please, don't make me worry any more than I already have to."

She smiled, squeezing his hand once. "Shannon, it's okay. I'm going to be okay now." She said, her finger tracing his palm softly. "You don't need to worry about me, okay? But if it makes you feel better, I won't stay home alone next time you're out."
