Warnings: Violence, guns.

Shannon woke up to find the other side of the bed empty. He stretched out his hand, feeling the bed still warm, which meant Talia must've gotten up recently. As if on queue, he heard the shower running. He feared she would change her mind after last night, although he doubted it. It had been the best night of his life and he smiled, remembering how right it all felt.

Talia got in the shower, humming softly as she started washing her hair. She bit her lip, feeling a bit sore down there. Shannon was as big as the rumors said, but he did know how to take care of a woman.

She jumped at the feel of arms around her waist, laughing and leaning back into Shannon's chest for a moment. He spun her around, cupping her cheek and kissing her. "Morning!" Shannon said, pressing his forehead against hers.

She sighed, licking her lips. "Morning."

"How did you sleep?"

"Good." She smiled, pecking his lips. "You?"

"Like an angel."

Talia pulled back, getting under the spray of water. "More like a devil." She said, winking.

Shannon laughed, enjoying her playful side coming out. He held onto her hips, pulling her into him. "Is that so?"

She giggled, holding on to his shoulders. "Yep. You and your alluring pull, Mr. Leto."

Shannon smirked, kissing her and pushing his tongue to meet hers. "I could say the same about you, you sexy little thing." He started placing kisses on her neck, hearing her sigh as she tilted her head back to give him more access.

"Shannon, we're gonna be late." Talia said, struggling to get out of his grasp.

"So what? I'm the boss, remember." Shannon said, weaving his hand into her hair and kissing her.

"I know, babe, but the rumors are bad enough. I don't want them to think that just because I'm your girlfriend, I get special treatment."

Shannon smiled, hugging her close to his chest. "You're right, beautiful. As much as I don't really wanna stop... Why must it be so hard?"

"I'll make it up to you tonight." She said, pulling back to find him smiling at her, not saying anything. "What?"

"You just called yourself my girlfriend."

Talia blushed, looking down and smiling. "Well... I-"

"Hey..." Shannon tipped her chin up. "I love hearing you say it, okay?"

Talia nodded, welcoming his kiss briefly. She pushed him away, turning around and getting the body wash. It was torture to resist such a perfect man as him, but she didn't want things at work getting any worse than they were right now.

They got through the motions of getting ready, Shannon getting into his car and Talia on her bike, heading to work.

It was torture knowing she was right there and that he couldn't touch her. Travis had to call him a couple of times to get his attention, catching him looking in the direction of the warehouse.

"You have it that bad, huh?" Travis asked, smiling at his friend.

Shannon shook himself out of his reverie, smiling. "Yeah... she's perfect."

"Just be careful, man. She seems like a really great girl. Don't hurt her." Travis said.

Shannon nodded. "I wouldn't dream of hurting her, man. I like her a lot."

They got back into their work, dealing with paperwork. Soon, it was time to leave and Shannon couldn't move fast enough, getting in his car and waiting for Talia to get on her bike, making sure she was right behind him.
