As Venice stepped into the doorway, her eyes darted between Jungkook and me, registering the tension in the air. Ignoring my presence, she focused on Jungkook with a furrowed brow.

"Jungkook, we need to talk," she said, her tone demanding attention.

Jungkook shifted uncomfortably, his eyes briefly meeting mine before returning to Venice. "Can it wait? I'm in the middle of something," he replied, his voice strained.

Venice's gaze flickered to me for a moment, her expression unreadable. "No, it can't wait," she insisted, her voice firm. "We need to sort this out now."

I could feel the tension escalating as they exchanged glances, their unspoken communication filled with history and unresolved issues. Sensing the growing discomfort, I debated whether to intervene or stay silent.

As they moved into the living room, their voices lowered to murmurs, but the intensity of their conversation remained palpable. I strained to catch snippets of their dialogue, but their words were muffled by the distance.

Unable to focus on anything else, I toyed with my food, my appetite forgotten as I waited for their interaction to unfold. Each passing moment only heightened my curiosity, leaving me on edge.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Venice emerged from the living room, her expression hardened. Without a word, she made her way to Jungkook's bedroom, determination evident in her every step.

Jungkook followed closely behind, his shoulders slumped with resignation. As they disappeared from view, the weight of their unresolved conversation hung heavy in the air, leaving me with more questions than answers.

Alone in the dining room, I couldn't help but wonder about the complexities of their relationship and how it would impact our own uncertain future. As I waited for their conversation to reach its conclusion, I braced myself for whatever revelations it might bring.

As Venice hastily gathered her belongings, Jungkook escorted her to the front door in silence, his expression a mixture of sadness and resignation. They exchanged few words, their conversation muted and strained, leaving me to overthink the implications of their abrupt breakup.

With Venice's departure, the weight of their unresolved issues lingered in the air, casting a shadow over the room. My mind raced with questions, each one adding to the uncertainty of the situation. What had led to their breakup? Was it something they could have resolved? And how would it affect our newly established arrangement?

As Jungkook returned to the living room, his frustration was palpable. He paced back and forth, his brows furrowed in deep thought, while I watched him with a mix of concern and curiosity.

"I don't understand," he muttered to himself, his voice filled with frustration. "Why couldn't we just talk it out like adults?"

His words echoed my own thoughts, stirring up a whirlwind of emotions within me. Despite our agreement to explore a friends-with-benefits arrangement, the unresolved tension between Jungkook and Venice threatened to overshadow everything.

As Jungkook sank onto the couch beside me, his frustration evident in every line of his face, I realized that our journey together was bound to be more complicated than I had initially anticipated. But in that moment, all I could offer was a sympathetic smile and a silent vow to navigate whatever challenges lay ahead, together.

"Hey, Jungkook," I began cautiously, breaking the uneasy silence. "I couldn't help but notice... What went down between you and Venice?"

I mean, I don't like Venice at all but they broke up multiple times over petty things but now, their breakup left a questionable mark for me.

Jungkook let out a heavy sigh, his shoulders slumping as he rubbed his temples wearily. "She decided to end things," he explained with a hint of bitterness. "Said she wants to 'grow up' and move on."

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "That sounds... abrupt," I remarked, trying to make sense of Venice's vague reasoning.

Jungkook nodded grimly. "It's ridiculous," he scoffed, frustration evident in his tone. "I mean, we had plans, you know? We were supposed to grow together, not apart."

I offered a sympathetic nod, understanding his frustration. "It must be tough," I replied softly, unsure of what else to say.

"Yeah, you could say that," Jungkook muttered, his gaze fixed on some point in the distance as he processed his emotions.

I hesitated for a moment before tentatively speaking up again. "Do you think she'll come around?" I asked, hoping to offer some semblance of optimism.

Jungkook shook his head, a bitter laugh escaping him. "I doubt it," he admitted, his voice tinged with resignation. "She's made up her mind, and there's no changing it."

Silence hung heavy between us as we both grappled with the weight of Jungkook's recent breakup. In that moment, I realized that our journey together was about to take an unexpected turn, one that would challenge us both in ways we couldn't yet imagine. But as Jungkook and I sat in shared silence, I knew that no matter what lay ahead, we would face it together.

As Jungkook and I exchanged a glance, my phone buzzed in my pocket, announcing an incoming call from Taehyung. With a quick glance at Jungkook, I answered, trying to sound composed despite the unexpected interruption.

"Hey, Taehyung. What's up?" I greeted, hoping to keep my voice steady.

"Are you guys sober now?" Taehyung's voice was firm, cutting straight to the point.

I exchanged a brief look with Jungkook, confirming that we were both now fully coherent. "Yeah, we're sober," I confirmed, feeling a knot form in my stomach.

"Good," Taehyung replied curtly. "Come over to my place. We need to talk."

The weight of his words hung heavy in the air, and I knew instantly what this conversation would be about. It was time to face the music and explain everything.

As Jungkook and I made our way to Taehyung's place, the tension between us was palpable. Neither of us spoke much, lost in our own thoughts and anxieties about the impending conversation.

When we arrived, Taehyung greeted us at the door, his expression unreadable. He ushered us inside, and we settled into the living room, bracing ourselves for what was to come.

"So, what's this all about, Taehyung?" Jungkook asked, his voice steady despite the underlying nerves.

Taehyung's gaze flickered between us, his expression serious. "Let's cut to the chase," he began, his tone grave. "I clearly saw what happened at the bar last night."
