The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room as I slowly blinked my eyes open. My head was pounding slightly from the events of the previous night, but as I shifted in bed, I realized that I wasn't alone.

As I stirred, I caught a whiff of something delicious drifting through the air, and my stomach rumbled in response. Sitting up, I noticed that I was wearing one of Jungkook's shirts, the fabric soft against my skin as I breathed in his familiar scent.

With a sense of curiosity, I made my way downstairs, following the tantalizing aroma to the kitchen. And there, standing over the stove, was Jungkook, a look of concentration on his face as he flipped pancakes with practiced ease.

"Good morning," he greeted me with a smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he turned to face me.

"Morning," I replied, returning his smile as I took in the sight of him. Despite the events of the previous night, there was a sense of comfort in being together like this, in the familiarity of our shared routines.

As I settled at the table, Jungkook plated up the pancakes and joined me, the two of us enjoying a leisurely breakfast together. The tension from the night before seemed to melt away in the warmth of the morning sun, replaced by a sense of ease and contentment.

Just as we finished eating, Jungkook's phone rang, breaking the peaceful atmosphere of the room. With a sigh, he glanced at the caller ID before answering.

"Hey, Jimin," he said, his tone casual as he listened to whatever his friend had to say. But as the conversation progressed, I could sense a shift in Jungkook's demeanor, a tension creeping into his shoulders.

After a few minutes, Jungkook hung up the phone, his expression troubled. "Jimin wants to meet us at the bar later," he explained, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "He said he has something important to ask."

I nodded as I rolled my eyes. "Taehyung surely told him about it."

"Don't worry," he said softly, his eyes meeting mine with unwavering determination. "We'll face whatever comes our way together."

And with those words, the weight on my shoulders seemed to lift slightly, replaced by a sense of trust and solidarity in Jungkook's presence.

"I mean this is so sudden, Jungkook. I get their point too. We've been friends since high school and this is shocking for me too."

As the evening approached, Jungkook and I made our way to the bar where Jimin had asked to meet us. The atmosphere was lively, the sound of music and laughter filling the air as we found a table in a secluded corner.

"What's going on?" Jimin straighly asked as I gulped down the alcohol I have in front of me.

"Don't act dumb." Jungkook hissed as he shook his head, showing his irritation for the obvious question of Jimin.

"I need a confirmation! Is it true? I don't trust Taehyung at all..."

"Well, it's true! We're dating, Jimin." I straightly confessed.

He suspiciously eyed Jungkook and I. I looked away and saw Jungkook just keep on drinking down all the alcohol he has in front of him.

"No, something's not right in here." He lowly said.

I shrugged my shoulders, not minding his question.

As the night progressed, Jungkook and I found ourselves caught up in the energy of the bar, laughing and joking as we reminisced about old times. Despite the weight of our recent confession hanging over us, we were determined to enjoy ourselves, clinging to the familiarity of our friendship as a lifeline in the midst of uncertainty.
