A/N: There Will be holes in the storyline and a lot of time skips because certain things are just not that important.

"Mirror? How is that going to help you any... is it - is it enchanted?" He asks calmly as Madam Pomfrey checked me over for any other signs of injury.

"Yes, he has a matching one... we are quite close, especially since I came out," I let my voice be soft and patient as I told him the truth.

"That's cool." He let out a soft sigh.

"It's just bruised, I can give you something for the pain if you would like?" Madam Pomfrey asked softly.

"I would appreciate that, thank you." I smiled gently as she gave me a potion in an opaque white vial that was marked 'Pain Relief' as not to get it mixed up with any other potion. I downed the disgusting tasting liquid, and made a disgusted face to Draco who was sitting beside me still to which Draco chuckled softly, no longer only concerned about coming out to his potentially homophobic parents. After a couple of minutes I speak up again, this time directed at the silvery blonde haired beauty sitting next to me, "You should go, breakfast will be starting soon and it would probably be bad for both of us to be seen walking together, I'm not quite sure how Ron would respond... I need to talk to him and 'Mione before I show up ant where with you, it's not you it's my friends." I pause briefly, "I'm sorry it has to be like this, I really am I just not sure the whole school is ready for this perfect friendship," I joked be fore gently asking, "Do you understand?"

I hadn't realized I was speaking quickly until Draco said softly, "I think I'm getting the gist of it, I'll head out now... until next time," he joked but was half-serious... he genuinely hoped for a next time, my heart fluttered a little as I watched him scurry out of the Hospital Wing, leaving me and Madam Pomfrey alone.

"Am I free to go? I have breakfast and classes to attend as well as friends to meet in the Great Hall... I would appreciate at least knowing if I am expected to stay in here for much longer."

"You're free to go, if anything strange happens due to the bruising or the Pain Relief potion just come right back down here, I will let all your teachers know to watch for the warning signs and if you notice anything before they do just feel free to leave, I appreciate you immediately coming down here," her voice was soft as she spoke. "What happened?"

"I tried to wake one of my roommates, and best friends, from a nightmare which resulted in him punching me on the nose out of shock, and perhaps thinking I was one of his prankster brothers... it really was just a misunderstanding, I was afraid he broke my nose because of the direct hit and all the blood, not to mention how hard he hit...Ron can really pack a punch when he wants to." I let out a soft, slightly forced chuckle... the whole mishap was quite comical to myself, an I'm not quite sure how to respond to the whole ordeal, but figured simply laughing it off, pretending it didn't happen, and being unresponsive to it all was a fairly good start although he was sure Ron would apologize profusely for his mistake all breakfast and at least part of the way through their first class, charms.

"I see, be careful from now on when waking your sleeping friends from their dreaded slumber, I would hate to see you back here for a similar injury." She had a slight smile on her thin pink lips, she was quite the gentle lady who was great with children... in my opinion she picked the best profession for herself and belong here as the school's healer, I was sure I would be here rather often as I was, after all, what the muggles called accident prone and was injured quite often not unbeknownst to his father who was exactly like myself and we spent a lot of time in both muggle hospitals (usually when my mom was done with my father's stupid ways and firmly believed he needed to suffer through it in a more mundane way like muggles had to) as well as wizard hospitals. At least I wasn't as bad as my father, at least not yet.

"Thank you again, I'm going to head out. I'll be sure to be back if anything funky happens." She just nodded as I grabbed my robe, which I had wisely grabbed before leaving, pulling it on as I walked towards the open door where my best friends, Hermione and Ron, waited for me.

Ron went to speak, an apology on his thick pale pink lips, and I really didn't need to hear another one... I knew it was something that had happened unintentionally. I quickly interrupted before he got the chance to speak preventing another awkward apology for something I didn't blame him for, I quickly spoke in a soft voice full of emotions that were trying to convey that I wasn't upset and would do it again, "Ron, it's okay... I'd do it again, I knew you didn't mean it. Ron, mate you weren't even fully awake yet so no reason to blame you for something you weren't completely aware of, so can we just put this behind us?"

Ron nodded and said gently, "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am... it could've happened to anyone but I was the only one who noticed you were having a hard time sleeping because I myself had woken up from a bad dream."

"Alright, thanks that made me feel a whole lot better about all of what happened, was your nose broken."

I gently shook my head as I slowly said, "Nope, it's just bruised Madam Pomfrey gave me something for pain and said if I noticed any adverse affects to come back down... she didn't tell me why but I'm sure it's a safety precaution."

"That makes sense, there's a lot of problems that can come from the potions that don't show up until they've been in your system for a certain amount of time before they decide rear their ugly head," Hermione spoke up for the first time since they had met up, her voice a little louder then she had intended at the beginning of her words so her voice softened as she continued.

"That actually makes a lot of sense, thanks 'Mione. Did a book on potions keep you up last night or do you usually retain a lot of information?" I said in a slightly teasing manner, yet it was quite the serious question, as we walked into the Great Hall for breakfast.

Ron chuckled lightly as he spoke gently, "'Mione, you're a genius."

"I am? Thanks. And Harry it's a little bit of both," she said softly as a slight blush appeared on her dark skin, she looked to be mixed but I wouldn't swear on it.

"Hey, guys can I talk to you after breakfast... I think it's not fair you guys don't know," Harry whispered to his pair of friends.

"Of course, you can tell us anything," Hermione said with a slight concerned tone but it was genuine.

"That's quite alright, just make sure it doesn't take forever... we should at least attend class on time the first day," Ron joked, he really didn't care whether or not they were on time or not but he really did want to create his own genuine identity but was unsure how to do so because there had been all of his brothers before him, I knew his fears because I had my father's shadow to live in for the rest of my life.
