The last day

We walk back then we take out separate ways. After I told him yes he hugged be so tight my lungs would burst then he spun me in a circle. I go and visit Harry now. I knock on his door Lance showed me where it was. Harry opens the door. His room smells like smoke.

"Have I told you the reason why I smoke" he says once I sit down.

"I don't think so" he might of but I can't remember.

"I'm a shadow and the shadow is taking over me it's deep inside of me and if it gets too strong it would take control of me and I wouldn't have any conscience anymore. So I smoke the shadow doesn't like the smoke so it keeps it at bay but it's also killing me. Being dead is better the. Losing control of your body." He picks up a cigarette from the little box they come on. He lights it.

"I got a tattoo today" I pull back my shirt to show him.

"Is that a dove. It looks like it's standing on a branch it's wings spread out ready to fly off... But fly off to where?" He asks.

"I don't know where it's going to fly off to"

"That's the point the dove could fly off to anywhere but at least it's going to be free. It can go anywhere it wants it'll never to trapped unless it starts trusting humans"

"Do you wish you could fly off somewhere?"

"Yeah I do up" he points to the ceiling

"What do you mean?"

"It had something to do with my ex girlfriend she's in a coma and tomorrow they're unplugging her machine"

"What's your ex girlfriends name?"

"Sorry about what I did to you, you just reminded me of her and I didn't want her to run away from me I loved her so much and I know that I have to move on but I know that soon enough I'll be up there with her that's why I want to fly up. High above the clouds higher and higher until I'm in heaven I know that I haven't done anything bad and neither has violet I'll get to see her up there"

"I did we sang songs together and we had picnics we danced and there was a time when we went to this park and we fed some ducks the smile on her face made me so happy it was the best thing in the world. That was a few years ago. A few months before she went into her comma she stopped smiling as much and I asked her what's wrong and she wouldn't tell me she told me everything was ok"

"Um may I ask how she got into her comma?"

"Sure fawn, anyway so we were out late one night and some people from the angels clove it's another organization. They wanted violet to come back with them because she used to be a part of the group. She said that she'll never go back. She apparently always brought a gun everywhere she went. She fired on them and they fired too she was a eyer just like you and she saw that I was going to get shot right in my head. She jumped in front of the bullet and she also shot the guy that shot the bullet and poof she's now hooked to that machine keeping her alive."

"Oh god I'm so sorry"

"Don't be it was my fault. I should of seen it coming. I could of saved her. Would you like to come meet her I know this sounds silly but I want someone to know about her not only me I want someone else to remember her when she's gone" I give Harry a hug as he blows a puff of smoke from his lips. He hugs me back the cigarret hanging by his fingers.
