I turned the faucet that had allowed the water to run off and started to move outside the door where Kota and Chlo were waiting. "Here. Your eye looks like shit by the way." I glaired at Dakota as he carefully patted his bruised eye. " Seriously what the hell were you thinking?" All I can do is shake my head. Is he like dumb or something she made some sort of motion as if she  wanted to choke him.

"Well don't blame me! He's the one that punched me." He crossed his arms as a small act of defiance. "Dakota for fucksake you can't go around getting punched by people for no reason!" I continue to protest against his actions as I sign every word that slips past my lips. It was kind of a habit since I live with Sydney and I've  been friends with Chloe so long.

The thing is that we never really taught Kota how to sign since he didnt wanna learn. Over time he kind of became accustomed to it I guess. You see I've known Dakota since we were five seeing as we went to the same preschool it was kind of obvious if you've  hung around long enough. You know how everyone gets a kindergarten boyfriend that never actually counts for anything other than getting extra animal crackers at lunch? Well yeah that was me and him back then. Of course we laugh about it now seeing I'm straight and he's about as straight as a fucking noodle when it's wet.

When we entered fifth-grade I introduced Chloe and Dakota to each other and we've all been best friends ever since. Except for that one time that we tried to have a relationship. You know me and Dakota? Yeah that was when Dakota figured out that he was gay... go figure.

After patching up Dakota we decided there was no point in staying around the school so we decided skipping was a better waste of time. We decided that we would go to the small coffee shop in town named simplicity. It's a nice place. Sells good coffee too. As we walk down to the parking lot we make our way to the car that I own which just so happens to be a red Suzuki. My very own pride and joy.

As we were walking something came to mind from earlier. "Hey Kota who the hell was that dude that was near you when we came into the cafeteria?" He  looked at me confused at first "Oh for fucksake don't get dumb. He had kind of shaggy blonde hair. Don't you remember?" He snapped his fingers and looked at me as if something came back to him. "Oh yeahhh him!" He kind of shrugged. "I guess he's new. Didn't get a name but he was hella cute too." I rolled my eyes towards Chloe which was an unspoken signal that meant slap Kota.

As he rubbed the back of his head I slammed on the gas and we started speeding towards simplicity. Kind of ironic of a name if you ask me. I mean there's not really anything simple about it. But I'm not going to complain the coffee is so fucking good. "Hey Sam? I'm really sorry you had to come bail my ass out again. I didn't mean for it to happen. I just get so pissed off when people make fun of others." I sort of smiled. "It's alright I guess it doesn't really bother me." I trailed off as I focused on keeping my eyes on the road and not wrecking the car.
