"Come on Harry! You're going to miss it." Gemma whines as she leans against my door frame.

I sigh and look over at her slowly from my bed. I wasn't very amused when she woke me up 10 minutes ago, telling me instead of asking that I 'just had to watch the new reality tv show because Lydia said it was amazing and one of the guys was hot'.

I guess she assumed since I liked boys too, that I would fangirl like her. But I wasn't one for fangirling.

"I don't understand why I have to-" I start but am cut off by loud shouting. Gemma and I both stop to look at each other with wide eyes. It was very unusual to hear shouting in our quiet neighborhood.

I slowly peeked out of my window blinds and gasped when I saw the officers dragging kids out of the Tomlinson's house.

I didn't know them, I didn't know anyone besides my family but seeing this was awful. Especially when the oldest-I couldn't remember his name-ran out of the house gripping one of the girls hands.

"There-the-officers." I stuttered out breathlessly and Gemma slowly sat down next to me and watched with me, I felt the bed dip and then her hand in mine as the shouting outside continued.

"You can't take them! Lottie, no!" He screamed as another officer tore his hand away from the girls. Their mother held him back as he thrashed in her arms, trying to get to his younger sisters. Gemma gripped my hand harder and I heard her breathing hitch.

"Enough! We'll be back later to discuss your fines." The officer struggled to say, the girl in his arms was kicking and screaming as he shoved her in the car.

It was almost deathly silent in our house after the car drove away and I watched the boy fall to the floor in sobs with his mother.

I slowly looked over at Gemma to see her crying silently. "They'll come here next." She cries and quickly brings me into her arms. I let her hold me, bringing my arms away from her at the awkward angle to hug her back.

They would go checking every house now that they found a few non-firstborns. We would be one of the first houses they actually check which means we didn't have much time to find a place for me to hide.

I knew even if I was caught, my family would be screwed. They didn't have the money to pay the fines for harboring a non-firstborn.

"It's going to be okay." I mumble, I feel her shake her head.

"Oh gosh, I'm going to call mum and warn her." She suddenly says, jumping away from me and the bed. I watch as she runs out of the room before slowly turning back to the window.

We haven't had an incident like this since the Horan's almost 5 years back. I reached my hand out towards the window again before quickly pulling it away. It was a bad time to risk anyone seeing me but in the end I couldn't help myself.

I slowly pulled the blinds down just enough to see out of. There were people standing in their doorways, just turning to go back inside, now  that the commotion was over. I didn't understand why they didn't help. What if that was their child?

The boy and his mother were still in their front lawn, crying in each others arms.

I watched as the boy stood up, his mum reaching for him as he did. He didn't look very sad now, he looked angry. I didn't blame him.

He looked around him and I could hear him yelling. He was calling the officers that had left names and his mum tried to shush him quickly.

He looked over at my house and for a second, we made eye contact. I quickly closed my shades as my heart beat out of my chest.

He saw me.

"Harry I just got off the phone with mum. What are you doing?" She asks in alarm.

"Nothing." I mumble and scramble to get off my bed. "What did she say?"

"She's coming home. She wants us to start packing your stuff away and putting it in their room so it looks like dads stuff." She explains. I nod and turn back to my bed.

My window seems to call to me, taunting me with everything I just saw. I could be next.

When Gemma grabbed an armful of stuff and walked out of the room, I peeked out the window again.

The two pieces of the Tomlinson family were nowhere to be found.

I just hoped the Tomlinson boy could keep his mouth shut.
