"Now, little Chiho, you're going to be going with this man for a little while. Just go on with him, my beloved daughter. Mom and Dad cannot give you the life you deserve, so you have a way to live with The Lord! Isn't that exciting! Now go, the soldier is waiting.""But mama, I don-"
"Nonsense, girl, now go!"
A younger Chiho - about 14 in appearance with large, ice-blue eyes and hair a snowy white that hung in two braids down her back - was pushed forward by her parents, both their faces dirty and tired - looking with proud looks on their faces. She looked up at the soldier, who peered down at her with a lecherous smile. She could see the scars on his face even through his helmet. When she climbed into the carriage, she scooted to the edge to look at her parents once more, silent tears sliding down her pale face. But, something was odd.
That same proud look on her parents' face wasn't at her, it was directed towards something else. With hungry smiles, their teeth yellowed and crooked, they both got on their knees, clasping their hands together and shaking them over their heads in gratitude.
An odd time for prayer, Chiho thought.
Eyebrow raised in suspicion, she did her best to look out to the blindspot in the direction which her parents were bowing. The sight almost knocked the wind out of her.
That same soldier who escorted her in the carriage signaled his men to bring pounds of food and livestock to the farm, enough to restore the crops and to eat plentifully for months!
Chiho banged on the window, crying out to her parents for sanctuary. It dawned on her that she was traded and that she wasn't coming home!
She continued to bang on the window until the soldier sitting next to her had had enough. He grabbed her wrists, pulling her to his chest as she continued to cry out, her parents never looking back; only at eachother with rejoiceful smiles.
"Mama! Papa!" Chiho cried, the tears continuing to fall.
That same lecherously smiling soldier climbed into the carriage, removing his helmet calmly despite the panicking girl in front of her.
"Shut her up, will you." The soldier grunted, muffling her shrieks as instructed.
The soldier chuckled as he looked down at the girl. He shook the excess sweat from his hair before smoothing it back with a sigh and a broodingly dark smile.
"Girl, we're going to be in this carriage for a few days before we reach the manor. How say it you make yourself useful?"
Eyes large, Chiho shrieked louder as the same soldier who restrained her proceeded to rip her already cheaply made peasant kimono, no doubting his frustration as Chiho flailed about in protest.
"She may be a farm girl," the soldier sneered, dropping the sash that held his armor and digging in his pants for his already anticipating member. "But with pale skin like hers, she's about as close to a princess that we'll ever get to, hold her arms!"
As the soldier straddled her, pulling her waist to his, her entire surroundings grew dark until all she heard was a voice.
"Why should The Lord be the only one to enjoy his concubines?"
Silence. Darkness.
