Internet and Insecurities

So we were having this little discussion at school this other day and one of my other friends was dressed to kill. So I asked her where she got her skirt and she was like "I bought it on Spree" then she added "but the problem with online shopping for clothes is that they might give uu the wrong size or it might simply not look like what uu wanted".

So here's my advice to all our readers and everyone else out there..DO NOT shop online for clothes.. especially if uu know uu don't look like that model riite there. I mean that model could be wearing a sack with a figure belt and because uu see it as beautiful uu might buy it, but then this guy come to your doorstep and hands uu a sack. I am telling uu, those websites and companies will have no fault in your situation and will definitely not listen to your kicking and screaming because, quite frankly, they weren't the ones who told uu to buy that sack or picnic blanket with pins plus they have a ton load of work, from other suckers just like uu.

The best way to avoid such havoc is to gain a social life🙌..nah nah I'm kidding😹..it's to actually get up and go shopping. Go into multiple malls, jump into town - it's that easy! Yes there are some people that will be like "but Lefty, what if there's something really niice online that I wanna buy but it's nowhere in shops" well my friend uu have been bamboozled. If that item isn't in stores it probably means they gathered left over cloth and sewed those pieces together then called it "Fashion". Honestly, it isn't that difficult to catch a taxi or drive to the nearest stores and get quality clothing for your money and uu know what the best part is, uu get to try everything on before uu purchase.

So another thing that's bad is that shopping online can work up your insecurities. Let us not lie people, many of us have things on our bodies that we do not like. Now look there's  this stick of a person (model) wearing ripped jeans, do uu honestly think that uu that has curves all over that beautiful body can pull that off without feeling like a stuffed turkey and looking like uu will rip further the remnants that have been called a jean??!! if the cut isn't for uu sista, uu have to continue looking. Now domt get me wrong, everyone is beautiful but I don't shop in the same section that Righty shops in..I have curves therefore I have to go the extra mile. This simply meaning I have to go hunt for clothes and internet shopping just won't cut it...the section that some look in ends up being called "plus size" like uu're extra baggage😑.

All I'm saying is try and go shopping more often, the internet can deceive uu and uu'll end up feeling bad because uu can afford food and them models always look like they can't..with a bit of make-up of course. Everyone is beautiful. Psalms 139:14 says "I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made".
