"The police says since they're too busy with bigger issues, they can't get here until Tuesday because it's low priority.' Jennifer says with disappointment. It's Monday morning. I lookaround at my friends. Mia was in a corner crying silently as Jasmine hugged her. Trish was still asleep which didn't surprise me. Everyone was in state of shock, except for Jennifer and me who were somewhat calm. There was a knock on the door.

"Hello?" I say. "Hey. I'm in the condo across the street. Is everything ok? I heard screaming." a boy with black hair said. "Yeah we're fine." Jennifer says in a small voice. "And who might you be?" the boy asked Jennifer. " Jennifer Heronah. And you'r name?" She asked in return. Anthony Freshman." the boy says smiling. He looks past us at the scared girls. "Are you sure you'r ok?" Anthony asked again. "yeah." I say. "Would you and your friend like to stay at m condo, and call help?" Anthony asked. "Well I have to stay, but Jennifer might." I lie hoping Jennifer would take the hint-romance! "Sure. That'd be nice." Jennifer says as they take each other's hand. "But can we walk around for a while first?" Jenifer asked shyly. "Sure." Anthony says walking out the door with Jennifer.

When I turn around, I see a shadow fall away. I walk to the living room-my eyes fill with tears. My friends were slaughtered! I looked at each of my friend's limp bodies. How did I not notice this happening? I raged at myself. I look back up to see a face that was pale with empty eyes glowing red. It had a black robe and a dagger in it's hand-Shining silver in the moonlight. It looked at me eye to eye, then vanished. A second later, I fell to the ground in a puddle of scarlet-blood. A dagger in my heart. This was truely the end.
