Chapter Two: "Save An Innocent"

Franny's POV:

I can't believe how bossy Roni can be sometimes i means she's only a year older than i am and she treats me like i'm her dumb and clueless child. Since our mother passed when i was only three years old i don't remember her that well i only know she was a witch just like us, Nessa and Roni has a better memory of her than i do.

We grew up living with our grandma but she passed two years ago so now it's just me Roni and Nessa. Our dad is still alive but he's never been around that much ever since he found out we were witches since he is human. 

As i read through the giant book of spells and demons we call the "book of shadows". I notice something strange the ouija board we have in out attic started to move it only did that we contacted spirits but sometimes good spirits would try and contact us. I walk over to the board to try and get a closer look at what was going on.

But the board had stopped moving.

"Is someone...or something there?" I ask.

The planchette quickly moves over the word "yes".

"Okay, what do you want...?" I ask.

The planchette moves over the letters S-A-V-E A-N I-N-N-O-C-E-N-T it spelled out "save an innocent". Innocents are what we call the people that demons go after who are in need of saving by the "charmed ones" which are my sisters and I. But this was strange we usually find out about innocent through my visions not by an ouija board. I decide that even though she could tend to be bossy Roni might know what to do with this information.

"Roni!" I shout.

Roni comes upstairs to the attic. 

"What is it?" She asks.

"I don't know the ouija board just told me to save an innocent." I reply.

"What?" says Roni.

"I don't know it just started moving while i was reading through the book of shadows."

"Let me see." says Roni as she stands by the ouija board. 

"Can you give us a name or more information." Roni asks the board.

The board doesn't move once so ever which makes Roni question me.

"Is this some kind of prank Franny...?" She asks me.

"NO! I swear it moved and it spelled out save an innocent." I reply.

"Well it isn't spelling anything now..." Roni replies. 

"Maybe your bossing around is scaring it." I say in a undertone voice.

"I'm sorry, What did you say." Roni responds.

"Nothing." I say even though doesn't believe me.

The planchette then moves over the word A-A-R-O-N.

"Did you see that?" I ask.

"Yeah i actually did." She replies.

"Since when does ouiji boards straight up tell us what innocents to save?" Roni asks. 

"I don't know." I reply. 

"Maybe we don't need you visions after all." Roni says in a snarky manner.

"Very funny." I reply in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm going to go to quake to tell Gray and Nessa about this." Says Roni.

"Okay i'm going to see if i can get a vision of our innocent to see how they look." I say.

"Alright, see you later." Roni replies.
