Chapter Seven: Date our innocent?

As he stands there handsome as ever taking shots of the golden gate bridge. What Nessa told plays in my head she told me that i have to see him again after today to keep a close eye on him. But i had no idea how i should initiate a friendship with him that will allow me to keep a close eye on him i mean i'm only mentoring him for today after this we go straight to be just co-workers who barely talk to one another and is to busy to stop and say hi to each other while walking down the hallways. It's been about thirty minutes since Aaron and I left the house i am praying that they found something that will help me or i'm going to have try and be this guy's close friend. And if you know anything about me it's that i suck at making friends especially close ones that work with me. 

"So, Aaron how long have you been into photography?" I ask at my terrible attempt to start a friendship. 

"For as long as i can remember, my dad was into photography when he was younger i guess it runs in the genes." He replies.

"Really? Where's you dad at now?" 

"He passed when i was six." Aaron murmured.

"Oh, Aaron i'm so sorry." I say.

Even though i hate when people say that to me when i tell them my mother passed that's such a typical person way to respond. So i decided if i'm going to be his close friend i can't speak to him like a typical person would. 

"Yeah, so am i." He replied.

"You know i can understand how you feel." 

"You can?"  He asks.

"Yeah, my mother passed when i was only four."

"Really?"

"Yes, me and my two sisters who you've meet were practically raised by our grandma who passed away two years ago."

"What about your father?"

"Our dad has been out of the picture for a while, it's a long story."

"I can't think of any story long enough to explain why a dad would walk out on his daughters especially one as amazing as you." 

I try to keep myself from blushing and smiling like an idiot because he is so sweet and when he compliments me it makes me feel like i've never been complimented before. 

"Thanks." I reply.

"You're welcome." he says as a charming smirk comes across his face.

"Hey, uh i dont- I don't want to sound to forward but after this shoot maybe we can meet up sometime you know, not work related and without our cameras." He says to me.

I couldn't believe what he was saying. He was actually asking me out! And there i was worrying and trying to find a way to keep track of him and he does the job for me. But what will Nessa and Franny think of me dating an innocent i mean they've never done it but they should understand that i am doing this just to protect him nothing more. Maybe it isn't such a bad idea because it is after all the easiest way to keep an eye on him.

"Sure, I would love to." I reply.
