Chapter Eight: A vision for sore eyes

Franny's POV:

"What do you mean she's going on a date with him?" I loudly ask Vanessa over the phone, she was just as confused as i was. We explicitly ask Roni to become close friends with him, and she takes that as go out with him after only one day of knowing him. I couldn't believe she could be so irresponsible and still have the audacity to tell me that i'm immature.

"I don't know," Vanessa responds, " She came back home and told me there going on a date, she says it's part of her plan to protect him." 

I roll my eyes in annoyance, "She couldn't find a way to protect him without using it for her own advantage." I mumble underneath my breath.

"What?" Asks Vanessa.

"Nothing, I gotta go." I respond while hanging up the phone. I can't believe i had to receive bad news in the middle of shopping. I was in the middle of shopping at the wiccan store, we were running low on potion supplies. And Nessa thought it was a good idea for me to buy something that would help me with my visions.

She obviously doesn't understand how my power works, it isn't something i could just fix by using a crystal ball. There was something extremely wrong my power was one of the power of three it couldn't just stop working out of nowhere. There had to be a reasonable explanation for this and i was without a doubt, going to figure it out.

I walk past wiccan items like chalices, athames, candles and so on. I walk until i see it the bright blue crystal ball. In the book of shadows it said that if a person with physic abilities such as myself, were to be having trouble with their abilities using a crystal ball should help. I knew that the idea of a crystal ball helping my visions didn't sound very realistic but, i haven't had a vision in weeks i was beginning to get desperate.

I walk towards the sparkly blue crystal ball and all it glory. I pick it up the price tag reads ninety-nine cents. Great my visions were relying on something that wasn't even a full dollar. As I hold the crystal ball in my hand a start to feel a sensation that i haven't felt in a while. I knew for a fact that i was having a vision, I close my eyes tight and let the vision take over me. I see Aaron  and Roni on a sidewalk, they're being attacked by a female demon.

Roni is trying to use her powers to push the demon away, but they aren't working for some reason. The demon uses her power to set Roni on fire, but only Roni she spares Aaron. Aaron is in absolute distress while watching Roni burn. My vision was no longer just something that i saw i could feel it. I could feel the fire burning my skin as i watched it burn Roni, I could feel the fear weakening my bones as Aaron's body was full of fear. 

I couldn't help but call out for the vision to stop, it was by far the worst vision i've ever had. It was the worst feeling in the world, not just the fire but seeing my older sister burn in it. I open my eyes and the vision comes to an end, i am surrounded by people who were also shopping at the wiccan store. They are hovering me asking me if i'm okay, i assume they heard me yelling for the vision to end.

"It' alright, i'm fine." I declare as i rush out the doors of the wiccan store, leaving all the items i was going to purchase behind. I wasn't sure about half the things in my vision like, who was that demon and why did she spare Aaron and attack Roni. But there was one thing i knew for sure was that i had to warn Roni, I could not let this terrible vision become a reality.
