I woke up to maddie saying to get up.

"What Maddie"I groaned sitting up.

"Just get up" she said rudely. I hung my feet off the edge off the bed.

"You have to go to the studio" she said. Walking out of my room.

"I'm driving you" she yelled. I groan throwing myself back on the bed. Why does she have to drive me. I sigh getting up. I walked very slowly to my closet opening it up and grabbing a outfit.

On the way to the office maddie wouldn't stop asking about the date last night. I answered her questions and she would gush over it more.

"Ok I will see you after" She said stoping Infront of the office building. I got out and walked up. Weird. Johnny usely is here waiting for me. He must be very busy. I went into the elevator by myself. It's lonely now not having him by my side. I got up to the top floor. I walked into my office sighing. Another long day ahead of me again. I sat down and started working on my song.  I moved things around on my desk. It's been a hour already I picked up a paper and another paper a small paper actually.

I saw a note laying a pond my desk. I looked at it to it studying it closely. I picked it up.

Hey mackz,
I know you are probably wondering where I am. Where everyone at or why maddie absurdly woke you up to the go to the office. So answer me this riddle and you will find another clue. I have buttons but I’m not a shirt
I have doors but I’m not a house
I go up and down but I’m not an umbrella
I need at least two stories but I’m not a book of fairytales
I’m found in tall buildings but I’m not a penthouse. Now go come and find me before dark.

What goes up and down. I'm so confused what is he talking about. I walked out the office looked around. What has buttons but it's not a shirt. I'm so confused. I hate riddles. I thought for a minute.

"I have buttons but I'm not a shirt. I have doors but I'm not a house. I go up and down but I'm not an umbrella. I need at least two stories but I'm not a book of fairytales. I'm found in tall buildings but I'm not a penthouse" I repeat to myself.

"An elevator"I shout running to the elevator. I press the button over and over. Finally it open and there was Annie standing with clue number two.

"Hello Mackenzie glad you figured it out" she said handing the clue over. I opened it.

Great job mackz you found clue two. Remember when we would kiss in this very elevator before we had to go. Its like some Grey's anatomy show where the elevator was there special spot. Big things happen in that elevator anyways you are running out of time so here riddle number three. We hang out there. You talk there. Food goes in but doesn't come out. There's a rest but not a lot of resting.

"It's obviously a restaurant"I said sighing softly and laughing at his horrible riddle.

"Yeah he couldn't come up with one for the restaurant it was funny" she said laughing. I laughed as I got off and so did she. Maddie was waiting for me outside.
