Ellie
Sitting up, I put my hand against my forehead. My head is pounding like crazy.
Then I look around, where am I? I'm sitting in a four poster bed with black sheets. Behind me lay a dozen black pillows and in front of me is this very big fire place with in front of it, a couch and small table. On my right I have 2 doors and a closet and left I have 3 big windows looking out on a garden with a pond.
One of the doors opens, revealing Snape who walks in. It's weird seeing him in normal clothes instead of the long black robe he was wearing before.. He looks good in the black suit, less intimidating but still scary.
"How are you feeling?" he asks with his scary voice, staring at me and making me cower backwards into the pillows
"My head hurts.. Where am I?" I say slightly embarrassed, since I just found out I'm wearing a very big t-shirt that's not mine.
"You're in my home." He answers on the same tone. I'm beginning to think it's the only tone he has.
"Why?"
"That doesn't matter." He answers getting irritated.
"What happened to my clothes?"
"They were covered in puke and drenched with sweat."
I blush while asking this question. "Did you undress me?"
He doesn't respond and just raises an eyebrow, staring at me. "Breakfast is down the stairs, first door on the left. You can find me there."
Then he leaves the room, closing the door behind him.
I sigh looking around before getting out of bed and walking to the doors. The first one leads to a bathroom with a shower, a sink and a toilet. The second one is to the corridor.
So I go inside the first one, looking through the cabinets for a washcloth and a towel because I'm not very big I have to stand on my toes to be able to look in the mirror. The shirt I'm wearing is so big that it's almost a dress that ends right above my knees. After washing my face I instantly feel a lot better.
Then I walk down the corridor to find stairs. The floors are made of this dark wood, that feels terribly cold under my bare feet. But then again the house itself isn't very warm to begin with.
While walking up and down the corridor not finding any staircases, I start opening doors. Hoping I won't stumble on something scary or something that makes him mad.
First doors I open end up to be a library, a very big one seeing the several doors it had. Then I open a door to what seems to be an office of some kind. Where there is an owl sitting on the windowsill, holding a letter in his beak.
Stepping inside curious of the white owl, I don't hear Snape coming inside the room standing behind me.
"Miss frost." I let out a scream, spinning around to fast and end up falling on my backside. I sit there panting, staring at him with big eyes while he only raises an eyebrow and whistles short. Then I hear wings flapping and the owl lets the letter fall into his hand before flying back out of the window.
Without removing his eyes of me he opens the letter, skimming over it quickly and then handing it to me.
With a shaking hand I take it from him, but not reading it.
"I'm.. I'm sorry," I say, "I didn't mean to come in here, I just couldn't find the stairs.."
Still staring at me he offers me a hand. With a moment of doubt, I take his hand so he can help me stand up.
