(Sam):

It had been quiet for a good half an hour and a hoard of walkers had surrounded the only the way in. I was worried. Worried for Dani, I shouldn't have let her go alone. But I know she can look after herself just fine.

We were surrounded. As the walkers closed in we tried to think of a plan. "What the fuck do we do?" Toby asked.

"No fucking clue." I replied.

Dani's eyes widened. "Idea." She quickly jumped up and looked over the wall to see a huge hoard of walkers heading our way. She quickly slumped back down next to us. "Okay, stupid idea." She was thinking. "We have to go through them. Literally the only choice."

"You're crazy! We'll die!" Toby said looking nervous.

"Yeah, you're right. I am crazy." She smiled as she stood up and pulled out a knife. "Toby, take the 3 on the right. Sam, take the 4 on the left. I'll take the 3 in the middle."

"Why do I get more than you guys??" I questioned.

"You're tougher duh. Remember when we first met? You saved me remember." She said.

"Yeah, you still owe me for that. What's his excuse?" I asked.

She laughed. "He has a girlfriend, who is also my best friend. She'll kill me if he dies."

Toby laughed too. "That's actually true."

Speechless. "Wow." I replied.

"Now that we've got that settled." She said as she jumped the wall and ran straight at them. Followed by Toby.

"We're going to die. Better go in style." I said laughing. I jumped the wall and watched Dani knock two walkers to the ground while she stuck the knife through the thirds brain. One grabbed her ankle but she soon crushed its skull with her foot and then stabbed the third in the eye socket. "Oh." The four walkers on the left turned to her, "Hey! Fuckbrain! My turn." I shouted towards them so they'd turn towards me. I ran towards the four walkers pulling out the axe I had strapped to my back. "Wish me luck." I said under my breath.

Present day...

"Pssst." I heard. "Sam?" I heard a whisper. It was coming from my back pocket. The walkie talkie, I had forgotten. "Sam, are you there?" Dani whispered.

"Dani, are you okay?" I replied softly.

"Yeah I'm fine, I've gotten what we need, but I'm stuck up here now." She said.

"Yeah I know, I see the problem. What's the plan?" I asked.

"We figured you could distract them. Just so I can get out." She replied.

I looked around searching for some way I could gain there attention without killing myself. I could smash a window, although I don't want to create too much noise, just enough to distract this group of walkers, not the whole neighbourhood. "I'll think of something. Just make sure you're ready when I say."

"Okay." She replied.

Now what to do. I ran my eyes over every inch of the street looking for a distraction. I could use the radio in the car. If I could quickly dash to safety after turning it on. "Okay, I think I have an idea. Get ready to run as soon as they come towards me." I spoke. "Dani?" I asked. No reply. Just then I heard gunfire coming from the building. "Shit!" What the fuck just happened?! "Dani?! What happened? Is everything okay?" It was quiet. Walkers were banging on the door. It wasn't going to hold forever, I had to do it now and get up there. I opened the car door which was thankfully unlocked. Turned the radio on which was just noise and ran for cover on the other side of the road. Walkers were noticing and turning. Soon enough they were all heading over. I could hear more round the corner. I ran over to the pharmacy and busted down the door. I ran up the stairs. "Dani! Dani!" I burst into the room. There was blood all over the floor and the walls. It was quiet. I got closer and on the floor was a girl. Dead.

"Sam." I heard from the corner of the room. I turned around and stood there was Dani, splattered with blood.
