Johnny's POV

'Finally I'm out of there...' I thought to myself walking out of the hospital, heading over to the Curtis house wanting to surprise them, 'gah I hope they'll be excited.'

Third person POV

As Johnny was walking over to the Curtis house, the rest of the gang was secretly setting up a surprise party for Johnny as if saying 'you made it!'

Ponyboy's POV

We where all talking about suprisingly Johnny, he had survived getting that badly injured, and he still smiles he's so strong, I don't know how he does it, if I where him I would have just given up.
As I was thinking this the door suddenly opened scaring me, but snapping me out of my thoughts. There he stood, Johnny stood at the door, me and him made eye contact but I quickly looked away blushing

'what is this feeling...' Johnny walked over and hugged all of us, but soon sat down next to me. "Hey pony what's up?" As he said this I was trying to make a sarcastic come back because I am a total tsundere. "The sky" this for some reason made him laugh and the rest of the group chuckle.

I stood up looking at the group for a second before asking "hey y'all wanna go to the drive in?" Darry said he couldn't because of work along with soda and Steve, two was way too drunk to take anywhere and Dally didn't want to deal with cherry if she was there, or any soc for that matter. So it was just me and Johnny.

Third person POV

Johnny and pony walked in silence to the movies. Not wanting to pay, and not really caring, went under the gate. The movie was apparently a horror. Pony was quite skittish so at every jump scare he would Yelp and jump a bit. After the movie both boy went back to the Curtis house, luckily not running into a soc.

Johnny's POV

I don't know what it was but every time pony jumped I couldn't help but think it was adorable, of course I couldn't ever tell him but it still made me blush. We where heading over to his house as right now in fact we just made it into the house. All you see is the gang makin' kissy faces at us, making me blush and pony sigh, "c'mon guys I know where gay but still!" What he said was true, I came out about a year ago and pony a few months later. I can't help wish that we where more than just friends though, I told this to Dally and he makes fun of me for it every now and again. "Ok, ok guys chill, look at Johnny's face he looks like a tomato" that made me blush more "c'mon Darry! No I don't..." This is all I could say I was still a blushing mess and I couldn't deny it I probably do but I don't want to agree.
