"SHE'S HERE! THEY'RE HERE! RING THE BELLS TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW!" A voice boomed from up above in the towers. The pitter-patter of feet came bounding down the stairs and rushed into the throne room. "E-e-e-excuse m-m-me, Sire," the fat man puffed, holding onto his stomach as he bowed before the King. "Her, her Majesty the Q-queen is h-here with the little P-princess!"

"Thank you, Kabage," King Vegeta spoke roughly. "Come along, Vegeta," he placed his hand on his son's shoulder as they walked to the centre of the room. "Remember what I told you."

"Be polite," the Prince rolled his eyes at his father.

"Introducing her Majesty, Queen Sadala, and Princess [Y/N]!" The doors to the throne room opened. The Queen appeared to be alone as she entered the room gracefully.

The young Prince Vegeta, 7 years old, stood proud and tall as he was introduced to the Queen of Sadala. He graciously bowed to her, "It's a pleasure to meet you, your Highness," he spoke on bended knee. He knew he had to be on his best behaviour today; he knew how important today was to his father.

"Oh what a nice boy you are," she smiled sweetly as she curtseyed to the King and little Prince. "King Vegeta," she bowed her head, "it's been too long. I hope things are well."

A small girl, no older than 5, stuck her head out from behind her mother. Prince Vegeta startled as she popped her head out again from behind her dress before hiding away once more. In the second he had seen her, he saw her cheeks were rosy and pink. Her eyes were a beautiful [e/c] and her hair was black as ink. Gross! He thought. She looks too clean and proper! "I bet she doesn't even wrestle, hunt, or box," the little Prince grasped onto his father's cape, tugging slightly.

"Now, Vegeta," his father scowled down as he placed his hands on his son's shoulders. Vegeta watched as the Queen brought her daughter forward. The little Princess wore an emerald green dress with silver and gold accents that scattered small rainbows along the floor in front of her when the light hit.

"Please," the Queen of Sadala spoke softly as she looked to her daughter. "[Y/N], be polite. Say hello to Prince Vegeta." She gave her daughter a small push towards him; the King nudged his son forward.

The two young royals stared at each other for a moment as they bowed to one another. "Hello, Princess [Y/N]. I am very pleased to meet you."

"Pleased to meet you, Prince Vegeta," she lowered her head. The Princess offered out her hand, her face pulling up into a scowl; Vegeta hesitantly took it in his before placing a kiss onto it.

Immediately he dropped her hand and cringed, stuck out his tongue and winced. He wiped his mouth with the back of his glove. "Yuck," he crossed his arms. I can't believe I'm stuck with her all summer, he thought to himself. King Vegeta cleared his throat as he stared down to his son. "So happy you could come," the Prince spoke through clenched teeth.

"So happy to be here," [Y/N] rolled her eyes as she curtseyed again. He looks so conceited, she thought, and mean! If I get lucky I'll get chicken pox.

"Where's your tail?" Vegeta asked as he walked around her, his voice full of surprise. The little Princess's face burned in embarrassment.

"On Sadala," the Queen interjected, "we do not keep our tails. Our warriors are an exception, other than them our planet is fairly peaceful. My precious [Y/N] has no need for a tail, she wouldn't hurt a fly... besides, we do not want the Princess of Sadala transforming during a full moon!" Vegeta stared at the Princess in amusement, stifling back a laugh, knowing she would be an easy target for him and his friends to gang up against.

King Vegeta and Queen Sadala linked arms as they walked away from their children, leaving them alone in silence. Princess [Y/N] gently swayed back and forth in nervousness. "Watch this," Vegeta chuckled darkly as he held out his hand. "I've been training since I was four!" A ki ball began to form in his small hand; an electric blue glowed in his palm. The Princess's eyes grew wide in horror as he threw his hand towards her, the ki blast hit her stomach and knocked her to the floor. Her eyes narrowed as she stood up and dusted herself off. The King and Queen watched on from the balcony.

"I'm so happy to see that the children are getting along," the Queen spoke, "and quite nicely, I might add. I love to watch children play and have fun..." [Y/N] and Vegeta were running around, chasing each other, trying to land punches onto one another.

"Our planets will be joined if this arrangement clicks," the King's arms were crossed as he stared down.

"Your Prince Vegeta is quite the catch for my darling [Y/N]." She looked to the clock on the wall, "I must be off! Good luck! Hopefully the little lovebirds become fast friends!"

King Vegeta continued to gaze upon the children long after the Queen had left. One day you will wed, and our Planets will be aligned. What good parenting, he chuckled to himself, and politics.

"So, you're really a Saiyan without a tail? And your people are peaceful? That's laughable! What an embarassment! No wonder why Planet Vegeta has been winning this stupid fight with your pathetic planet!" Vegeta snarled.

"Take that back!" [Y/N]'s small hands clambered into fists.

"What are you going to do? Hit me?" Vegeta roared with laughter. "I'd like to see you try—"

[Y/N]'s fist collided with his cheek. She flew away in shock, processing what she had just done. Her mind raced, Mother won't be very happy with me when she finds out! Vegeta cradled his cheek with a gloved hand as he glared across the room at her. She stood awkwardly, her fingers ran through her raven hair nervously as she bit her lip.

"You'll regret that!" He spat in her face before storming out of the throne room. "Ugh!" He groaned, "Girls are the worst! Completely worthless creatures! This is going to be a long summer!"
