I went back home and told my mom everything...

Now the vacations had started and Kaira used to daily chat, talk on phone etc.....
It was now Kartik's birthday......
Kartik - umm how do I call her..... She never goes out..... She is restricted only till the college and her hostel..... Yeah idea!!
Kartik called naira.....
Kartik - heyy naira..... It's my birthday today and I am Having a small party at my home..... I'll pick you up by 5 pm..... Byee.....
He didn't even let her speak and he cut the call..... Naira then tried calling him but he did not answer the call.....
4:45 pm......
Kartik again calls naira.....
Kartik - I hope you are ready as I am going to start from my place.....
Naira - Kartik a very happy birthday to you.... But you know that I won't be able to come....... I am not coming.....
Kartik - come on naira it's my birthday..... Don't deny me today..... I am on my way.... See you soon.....
Saying this he cut the call again but had a fear..... Fear that she'll not come......

He reached outside her hostel and saw her dressed in a beautiful pink dress.... She was looking very beautiful just like a fairy...... Kartik was just in awe seeing her..... He was blown......
Naira then slowly took steps towards him.....
Naira (smiling) - happy birthday Kartik......
Kartik - thank you naira..... I am glad that you are ready to come......
Naira - well I couldn't deny you on your birthday......
Kartik smiled.....
Kartik (smiling) - let's go....
Naira sat behind him on his bike.....
They drove to his house......
Naira observed that there were no other friends of his...
Naira(confused) - I thought that you were having a party......
Kartik - yes I am having a party.... But it's a small one..... Just my family and you.....
Naira - Kartik but.... I think you should celebrate with your family..... I mean.... It's better if I go...... Happy birthday once again.... And don't worry I'll take a taxi......
She turned and was about to go but Kartik held her hand from behind.....
Kartik - you are not going anywhere.... I won't let you go...... Ever (the last line he spoke in a whisper.)..... And my family is soo excited to meet you.... My mom, dad, and mansi... All are very eager to meet you..... So let's go in now.....
I held her hand and took her in.... My mom was very happy seeing naira...... She cupped her face and kissed her forehead..... Naira seemed overwhelmed...... Naira then greeted everyone..... My dad and little sister were very happy seeing her too......
We had the cake cutting and naira gave me a titan wrist watch as a gift...... We all had fun.... Then after a while mansi took naira along to show the house around.... While I went back to my room.....
After few minutes mansi came in with naira.....
Mansi - and this is Kartik's room.....
She looked my room very keenly..... And then her eyes fell on the table where the gift I wanted to give to her on her birthday was kept.... Still wrapped.... Immediately her eyes showed sadness and guilt and with that she looked in my eyes..... Mansi had already left...... I just smiled a little.....
Naira (in a low voice) - I am sorry Kartik.....
Kartik - huh?
Naira - I am very sorry Kartik.... I behaved soo rudely with you and insulted you.....
Kartik - that's OK I did feel bad for sometime..... But it actually doesn't matter.....
Naira - can I plzz keep the gift.....
I was really very happy....
