The ride to the motel was the longest ride ever after stopping at the red light, Shoeler began to have another flashback.
Two years ago, after David's mother was pronounced dead, he was furious and Lincoln, his schizophrenic personality, wasn't making it any better. By the time he reached home he had finally snapped, grabbing the crowbar out of his trunk he took determined strides towards the door. Upon entering he immediately spotted Lillian, his wife, cradling her now four months pregnant stomach. She awakes after hearing footsteps.
"Hey honey, you scared me I thought you were-"
WHACK!, followed by an ear piercing scream.
That's how it always ends with a whack and a scream. Shoeler could still remember when he pulled up to the crime scene to see the coroner wheeling his baby sister away. It was two years later and he still remembers the promise he made after breaking down in the front yard.
With the light turning green, he pulled away and recited the same promise he made two years ago.
"Lil, I'm gonna find that bastard and I'm gonna kill him!"
