I looked at  Jesabelle and laughed as she crinkled her nose

"I need a bath"

" Yeah, you do" It's best to agree, right?

Not. I got smacked on the arm

"Ow!"

"You're supposed to disagree and say that i smell like roses or some shit!"

She couldn't even finish the sentence from laughing

"Well, let's go back to mine and we'll work on our projects and you can bathe"

"I need clothes"

I looked at her and rolled my eyes

"you can wear some of mine"

She blushed and smiled

"O-okay"

I let her step in front of me and wrapped my arms around her waist and blew my breath onto her neck

"Why you stuttering, babe?"

She shivered and stuttered some more, she's such a dork

"I'm kidding gorgeous, but you can wear my clothes, now come on"

I leaned down and pecked her neck before grabbing her hand and pulling her to the car, holding her door open for her and letting her slide in.

I walked around to the other side of the car and slid in, starting the car and looking at Jesabelle

I pack my bags and say goodbye to my wife

For what seems like the millionth time.

They said it gets easier, but they lied.

She looks at me and says "really baby, I will be just fine,"

but then she looks away so I don't have to see her cry.

And that is when I ask myself;

i glanced over at Jesabelle as she sang softly to the song 'Miles Away' by Memphis MayFire featuring Kellin Quinn.

How am I supposed to be

Everything they expect me to be

When I feel so alone,

because I left my heart at home.

She needs me, but I know they need me too.

So God, give me the strength to do what you created me to do.

She glanced over at me just as I moved my gaze back to the road, away from her beautiful face

Really I'm so thankful for the people I meet,

The places I've been and the things I've seen,

but when she's not here

it doesn't feel like I'm living my dream.

I know they say that no one is perfect,

but I swear she's perfect for me

and that makes it so much harder to leave.

"What are you looking at?"

She looked down as I chuckled and she frowned at me

How am I supposed to be

everything they expect me to be

when I feel so alone, because I left my heart at home.
