Welcome one, welcome all to my new series!
Ok, I just want to say, this is gonna be funny, entertaining, and literally, these are things that happen in my life.
Let's start off with a bang!
On a dark and stormy night...
No, it was actually a really nice day.
But anyways, we had a horse in the barn named Maverick, and at the time, our driveway didn't have a gate; So anyone, or anything could walk right in and out. Now somehow Maverick managed to open his stall gate. (It was one of those gates with a latch instead of a clip) He decided that he wanted to take a little tour of the prohibited areas of the land. But here's the thing, it was at 7:00 am. So either we (My mother and I) were inside the house, which was conveniently placed directly next to the barn, our sleeping!
*Ding dong!*
"The doorbell? It's like 7:00 in the morning, so who could that be?"
I fixed my pajamas to go take a look at the unexpected visitor.
"Hello?"
Standing behind the foggy glass door was a fashion deprived man who looked like he could be the trainer from across the street.
"Good morning, miss."
"Oh, good morning?"
"Sorry to intrude, but do you happen to own a grey dapple?"
"Well, yes I do..."
"He's kinda in the street."
"He's in the what now?!"
"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you because I didn't want him to be hit by a car or anything."
"Oh, well he shouldn't be there!"
"Yeah, so I just wanted to let you know," he said as he turned on his feet and walked away like he had a place to be. Which he probably did for that matter.
After visiting the barn to grab Maverick's halter and lead rope, turned on my heels, in my pajamas for that matter, to see him walking down the driveway for breakfast.
"Oh, you dopey horse. Coming back to eat now are you." I said with a smile on my face.
To that day, we put clips on a hole in the latch for any horse that stays in our barn.
That's the end for today~
