10k X reader (z nation) (Complete?)

The world look different without my eye patch. I could see things that the human eye couldn't. And it made me very dizy closing each eye secretly to see how different it was.

With my z eye, the world had a slight yellow ting to it. But everything was magnified I'd say x15. Maybe that's why the zs don't really get humans all that well?

I walked beside Fred who limped slightly.

"Sooo... how long have you been a z for?" I asked.

//many dayyy//

"Do you like it?"

//alright. Brain grooooss//

"Huh. You're the only z that I know of who doesn't like brains."

Fred just shrugged his shoulders and kept walking. We walked for a little while until we came to a paved road.

"Do you know where this leads to?" I looked to my right and saw a Shell gas station up the road.

//nnnno//

"Can we check it out? Please?" I begged Fred as if I would beg my own mother as a child for a candy bar.

He shooked his head no and crossed the street.

"Fine then." I pouted and angrily stomped after him.

We walked on for hours. Not stopping for food, water, or rest.

"Fred, how much longer?" I asked, the heat hitting the back of my neck relentlessly.

"Great. This really sucks you know." I kicked a twig that was sitting on the grass.

All Fred did was nod his head in understanding.

Soon the sun begun to set and I was standing in the middle of no where following a z, who probably didn't even know the way.

-10k pov-

I continued following Y/N and the z who was leading her to her father. They rarely spoke, unless it was when Y/N needed to use the bathroom or was hungry or thirsty.

"Hey Fred." I heard Y/N say, "the sun's setting. I think it's time to get a couple hours of sleep."

The z just grunted and walked to a nearby tree where he sat down underneath.

Y/N started to climb the tree when I heard a branch break.

"Shit." She whispered.

I looked up to see that she was struggling to get to a more stable branch. I was about to run up to her when she pulled herself up.

I sighed in releife.

"Night Fred!" She called to the z.

The z grunted again as if he said goodnight.

"night 10k." She whispered.

"Night, Y/N." I whispered back.

I climbed up a tree that was a few meters away from hers and soon started to drift to sleep.

I was walking with Y/N and Fred in the forest. I looked at Y/N to see she wasn't wearing her eye patch.

How did I get here? I asked myself.

"Hey 10k, got any food on You?" Y/N asked with her beautiful smile.

"I think I got some crickets in my bag. One sec." I took my bag off and started looking for a small clear bag of crickets.

When I didn't find them, I shook my head no.
