I stood there, looking at Murphy with wide eyes.

"I can cure us." He said plainly.

"W-what?" I asked, suddenly shocked.

"I have a doctor here, shes working on a cure."

I couldn't container myself any more, I burst out laughing.

"You say you can cure us! Ha!" I bent over, my stomach suddenly starting to hurt from laughing so hard.

"Its true. I can." A females voice said from beside Murphy.

I stopped laughing and looked up at her.

"Dont you want to be normal again? Dont you want to feel like you belong?" Murphy said with a twinkle in his eyes.

"I'd rather stay a freak than be a lab rat. That's why you want me here. Isn't it?" I said plainly. "You dont know if this cure with turn you back into a human. So what better way to make sure it actually works is to put your child to the test?"

They didn't say anything. They both just stood there, mouths open and fear starting to show.

"Well. Guess again buddy. I'm not being a test subject for you. Or anyone for that matter. Just because we got the z blood running through us doesn't mean were any closer than when you left my family." I turned around and started storming off. "Oh. By the way, your youngest daughter died. Not like you care though."

I walked down the stairs and outside. Leaving Fred where he stood with Murphy and the doctor. Tracing my steps back to the dead city and to the place where I left 10K and Hermine.

"10K. Hermine." I called out to them.

I looked up at the sky and saw the sun about to set.

"Shit. I shouldn't of left them. They're probably dead by now." I started frantically walking down the road, looking in each car for some sort of life.

When there were no cars in sight I started running down the road as fast as I could. I kept calling their names, but they mustve been long gone.

"Shit. Shit! SHIT!" I yelled at the sky.

I could feel tears start to slide down my face and hit the broken cement road underneath me. I crashed to the ground, letting myself sob. This was the first time in so long that I felt completely and utterly alone. Abandoned.

I put my head on the ground, covering it with my arms. My body shook with each breath I took. Rain suddenly started to fall, hitting me gently. Then with a force it crashed to the ground.

"Look what we have here boys." A man's deep voice said from infront of me.

I looked up to see the gang of men from earlier standing above me, staring. There must be at least 9 or 10 men.

"I think we found another play thing." The man laughed.

I didn't have enough energy to fight back. I simply put my head back on the now wet pavement.

"Y-Y/N?" I heard 10Ks voice say from somewhere in the sea of people.

I looked up, looking for his face. Finally, I spotted him and her Hermin. Their hands tied together with rope.

"10k? Hermine?" I slowly stood up.

"You know these two brats? They've been nothing but trouble since we took them." The man said, tugging on their restraints.

Hermine let out a small Yelp of pain.

"Dont!" I yelled at him, staring him in the eyes.

"Whatre you gonna do about it? Huh?"
