I'm the only human

I hesitate for second still in shock, then insanity turn and run to the basment. I rip my stuff of the bed and shove it into the darkest corner, then run to the closet and shut my self in it. Its not the best protection but it will have to do for now. I take a deep breath and calm myself if there's one thing a werewolf can scent its fear.

I sit there for what seems like hours, hoping that its just a conflict with another pack or something minor like that anything worse could spell  major trouble for me. I hear shuffling and I catch my breath. If they were home I'd get the all clear call or knock telling me I only have so much time to find a better hiding place. I hear more shuffling then something that sounds like a can being kicked the cross the basement. I hear someone take a sharp intake of breath and the shuffling stops. My heart is beating a hundred miles a minute and I would hyperventilate if I wasn't holding my breath. I am so afraid that there is no doubt that who ever is out there can smell it. I hear footsteps coming closer to my hiding place and I almost screamed in fear as I watched the door handle start to turn.

I almost pass out from holding my breath and shock when I see Levi on the other side of the door. I realise my breath just to forse in another one as Levi swings the door wide grabs my arm and flings me on his back and we shoot up the stairs. I yell in protest but he grabs the back of my head and shoves me into his neck to silence me. Fear and confusion shoots through me as we burst out the front door and I hold on tighter for he is going faster than wolfly possible.

I open my eyes and I'm laying on Levi's wolf troting through a very dense forest. I don't remember falling asleep, but I know we are far from home and I know that we were never going back. I can feel how tense Levi is beneth me and I pat down his fur and put my arms aroung his neck. we are alone.

when we finaly stop its at a small cave in the middle of nowhere. Levi changes back and lets out a huge sigh that lets me know that I can speak.

"what is going on?!" I yell whisper.

He lets out another sigh and that when I see his eyes are red from crying.

"What happened? Where is Suri? Where is mom and dad?" I said a bit softer, but still panicked. I feel a wet drop on my hand that's when I realise that I had been crying.

I stare into his eyes. I watch as a tear wells up and and slides down his cheak and then another. he slowly pulls me into a hug and whispers in my ear.

"They knew, they knew all along they only kept you alive so they could study you, they got wanted Suri tried to stop them and she- she was arrested" he choked on his words and cought a shaky breath. Dread stabbed through me and it felt like my heart had stopped, I couldn't breath.

"I don't know what happened to mom and dad, I escaped before they could arrest me as well, the house was surrounded, but I knew where you would be though." he said as he released me from his hug and looked me in the eyes.

"I told them that I was sent to kill you and I wanted you dead and they believed me! I told them that you were in the attic and when they saw you weren't there I jumped out the window and slid into the basement window before they could see me, but know I don't know what to do we are inbetween territory's, but its only a matter of time before they trace my scent.I ran through a few rivers on the way here, but I know they will send their best after us. so we will need to move soon." he explained, but I couldn't speak, I was still crying. I only had one thing on my mind. To save Suri and my parents and I wasn't going anywhere until I did.
