"Why do people still like him for what he does?"

"If you don't like talking about it, you don't need to, cheollie."

Jeonghan says to the stressed male to reassure him. They have been a couple for not too long. That one year of people against them, antagonizing them only because they blamed the heartthrob of the school. They've never liked him since that one specific week which embarrassed them both.

*Flashback*

"Congratulations! It's taken too much time for you guys to confess to each other." Hansol says to the new couple. Seungcheol smiles and looks at Jeonghan, who is held by the older on the waist. Jeonghan giggles and they look back at the heartthrob. "You guys are so cute together."

"It took a lot of courage to confess to this angel." Jeonghan blushes from the older's words. He lightly taps Sungcheol's chest. "Oh, I can tell." Hansol replies.

Jeonghan looks at his boyfriend's eyes, a bit of fear swirled in them as Seungcheol started to get worried. "Please, remember not to tell anyone at school. We know the school doesn't like gays and it's really scary to think of them separating us." He almost forgets to say to Hansol. He smiles reassuringly. "Don't worry, I would never but can I tell the people I trust 100%?"

"Yeah, fine. At least you trust them, we will trust them too." Seungcheol felt a giant wash of relief. "See you in 3 hours?" Seungcheol nods. "Bye for now." They exit the house, giggling at their success. "We did it. We finally told someone." Seungcheol said and hugs the younger.

"I know. I actually feel so much better now." Jeonghan said, his smile faded in minutes as realization hit him. "Are you absolutely sure that we can trust him?"

"He's our friend. There's nothing to worry abou-"

"But are you really sure?"

"Look, we can trust him. Let's do a trust exercise. I'll go in the house while he's talking in the phone and see if he can be trusted or not." Seungcheol says to defend his best friend.

"Okay." They sneak back into the house. They stop walking around when they heard Hansol talking.

"Jeonghan, here." Seungcheol signals the other to him.

The words were a little muffled, but Seungcheol could hear most of it.

"Oh sure, like I'll ever tell Jeonghan I like him. What?! I'm just ki-" Seungcheol backs up.

"Did you hear that?"

"Loud and clear."

"But why would he?"

"It could be worse."

"Keep listening."

"...tell me I should tell everyone. You should know too."

Seungcheol can't process the words. He's speechless, unable to talk at the other's words.

"Cheol?"

"Let's get out of here."

"Agreed."

They left the house without a word.

They didn't come back in those hours they promised.

Hansol was worried so he texted both of them. No reply.

The next day wasn't any better. When Jeongcheol arrived school, they were greeted by stares, not warm but cold stares.

People are looking at them differently and Seungcheol can feel it.

"Hey guys! It's the 2 faggots he was talking about." A girl exclaimed, getting the attention of the entire school. They swarmed both of them, calling them faggots over and over again.

"You guys are a disgrace to this school."

"Can't wait to go to hell?"

"Why are you guys so comfortable with eachother? Isn't being and being called gay an insult?"

"Shut up and get away from us! All of you!" Seungcheol couldn't help it and shouted at all of them. They back up from the two of them and they run out of school, Jeonghan in Seungcheol's arms.

Seungcheol stops when he heard the sobs of the male in his arms.

"Hannie." The older whispers softly to the other. "You're fine now."

Jeonghan kept crying. He doesn't feel okay. He feels embarrassed, humiliated. He hates this feeling and Seungcheol can see it.

The older cups his face and pulls him in for a loving kiss. He uses his thumb to wipes the tears off of his eyes.

"Don't cry, I'm here for you." Seungcheol feels bad. He never likes it when Jeonghan cries.

"I'll never leave you."

*End of Flashback*

"I know that I shouldn't care." Seungcheol blankly says.

"But I can't get it out of my mind."
