One week later...

*Rudys POV*

"Okay no." She shook her head, "we are not going to buy that."

"Why not?" I argued, "we need it."

"We do not need a grand piano, we're gonna be living in your apartment in the mean time mister, and we're only allowed to get what we NEED."

"Oh yeah." I puffed out air, "and we need this huge ass bed?"

"Yes we do." She crosses her arms, "what's wrong with it?"

I put the laptop down and opened it a little wider, "this is too huge." (Thats what he said) no funny Rudy, not now, "what about..." I pulled my arms up to her waist and pulled her in closely, "when I get lonely and want to hold you?"

She smirked, "well." She leaned in and when she was just an inch close, "you're gonna have to slid all the way over, because I love this bed!"

"Okay okay, how about this one." I suggested. It had a pillow for the head of the bed and was just big enough for us.

She tapped her finger on the table and thought about it, "oookkkay." She smiled. I smiled too. We went back to looking up furniture. After a few minutes of dead silence. I looked over at Vanessa. She looked so beautiful. I can't wait until our wedding night. I have a huge surprise for our honeymoon and I couldn't wait to reveal it.

"Hey." I smiled

She turned and returned a beautiful full smile, "what's up?" She asked

"We should make it public." I smiled

"Our engagement?" She asked setting the laptop off to the side and sitting straight in front of me, "are you sure Rudy?"

I nodded, "there's no one else I want to be with then you Vanessa Alicia Gonzalez." I got off the bed and pulled her closet towards the side, I bent down in front of her on one knee. She clasped her hand over her mouth, gasping, "Vanessa...will you marry me?"

"Oh my god Rudy," She shook her head smiling

"I know this is arranged, but just knowing you these past few weeks, I feel like this was meant to be, like we were always meant for each other." I smiled, "please, marry me, not because this was our families choice, but because I never want to be this happy, with anyone but you." She stood, "will you marry me?"

She nodded repeatedly, "yes!!! Yess!!!" I stood, she jumped up. I wrapped my arms around her carrying her and spinning her around. I stopped, our eyes caught and she grabbed my face and showered me with kisses. I kissed back. I hungered her lips every time I looked at her.

"Ness we gotta stop before I get out of control." I looked down

"Oh." She laughed and jumped off, "can't control yourself Rudy?" She smirked

"Not when I'm around you." I shook my head

We walked downstairs to find our parents all around the kitchen counter talking and drinking wine, "I'm just saying, that it's their choice when the time is right for them to have children." We heard Alana's voice as we neared the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh come on Alana we both know we want them to have kids." Argued my ma

"Now honey come on-" my dad interrupted
