*Rudy's POV*

"Vanessa!" I shouted running after her as she walked out of the my house and was about to touch the side walk. I sprinted to her, wrapped my arms around her and turned her to me, "Vanessa please, just-"

"No Rudy, I'm not going to calm down, don't you know by now that you should never tell me to calm down when I'm angry?" I tried grabbing her with my hands, but she shoved them away before they could even make contact with her skin, "don't touch me, okay I have to go. I'll see you later." She said turning and speed walking away from me and down the street.

I had almost forgot that tonight we were having a small get together at Vanessa's house. we were going to see some apartments in Cali, for once ever since the arranged marriage thing came out, i really thought she'd be happy. but then Kay came along.

"Nessie!" I shouted, hoping she'd say something, turn around. but she didn't. she kept walking on forward. I rubbed the back of my head. i shook my head and made my way back inside my house. I walked though the kitchen, and grabbed two water bottles. i made my way upstairs. I was just going to get a water bottle for myself, but I just decided to get Kay one, since I'm not a complete ass. I opened my door to find her sitting on my bed, playing on her phone. she looked up smiling at me. the smile I once LOVED.

"you need to leave." I said extending my hand, handing her a water bottle.

she laughed, sticking her hand out and taking the water, "no, hey Kay, how are you? I guess you didn't miss me." she paused to stand, "or at least i led myself on to believe you did." she paused, crouching down and reaching into her leather purse, taking out a magazine, "until this." she said putting it in front of my eyes to see a photo of Vanessa and I making out. I'll admit, I did feel lousy for letting her find out that way. but we broke up because we were too busy for each other. it was mutual. and I thought she was over me. I'm over her.

"I know, and I just want to say." I paused as she lifted the drink up to her lips, cocking her head to one corner, as if she wasn't really interested in my apology, "I'm sorry."

she chuckled, before taking a sip of her water, "that was very sincere  Rodolfo." she smirked, taking another sip, "just as sincere as dating all these other girls before thinking about my feelings, or going out, having a good time, not returing my texts, just admit it Rudy!" she paused, "you never loved me the  way I loved you." she shook her head

"no, I did love you Kayla," I scoffed, "but it's different now."

"why? why are you getting married? this girl, she appeared out of no where!! what? is she pregnant?-"

"no, no, she is definitely not that!" I laughed

"then what Rudy?" she said slowly, trying to get t through her own mind, "if this isn't a shot gun wedding then what the fuck is it? you wouldn't even marry me, and we dated for two years! seriously Rudy, what the hell is wrong with you?" she shouted

"why can't you just get over the fact that we're done! I'm sorry Kay." I sighed, trying to calm myself down, "but I don't love you, i still care about you, I hope for the best in your life, you desereve all the happiness in the entire world, but...I don't love you anymore." i paused, "I love Vanessa."

her eyes lowered, "Rudy-" she cut herself off when her eyes caught the door, I turned around and  saw that it was my mom.

"Kayla Johnson, what brings you to Texas?" my mom smiled politely.

"there's a photoshoot we're shooting here for three days." Kay smiled, "it's for vogue." my mom laughed, walking towards Kay and giving her a hug, "it's so nice to see you again Maria."
