Farping?

For the longest time I thought farting and fapping were to same thing. My parents thought it was funny so they never corrected me.
Small skit:
I ran down stairs, it was lasagna day! YAYYYYY I loved Thursday's just for that reason.
I sat at a table and loud gassy wet farts coming from my sister.
"DAD AVALON KEEPS FAPPING NEAR ME! It's disgustinggggg!" Everyone erupted laughing. "What did I do?"
"Nothing honey *chuckle* just eat your food"
