Chapter 1 - Collide

So, seems like some of you are interested, therefore I will post the first chapter of this story.

Piavri and Zain meet each other at a very basic university party in Lucknow where Zain was studying to become a business school graduate. The way they meet was not that conventional though. They meet each other as they were both trying to convince their respective friend to stop drinking too much since they were on duty to drive home:

Piavri was in the middle of convincing her friend to leave: "C'mon Leila, that's enough, you've had enough, we have to get up at 7am tomorrow!", she tries and gets the glass of sweet liquor out of Leila's hand. "No, that's not true! I will get up whenever I want", Leila babbles and tries to get her drink back, but Piavri was having none of it and rolls her eyes while putting the drink somewhere where her friend can't reach it. "So, do you want me to go to the train station alone then?", Piavri asks again with a pouting face and tries to look as sad as possible.

"Noooooooooo", Leila says with comical big eyes and shakes her head wildly so that Piavri kind of gets worried that her friend might get sick. "Then, I want you to come with me", Piavri says sternly and stands up from where they were sitting. As soon as she turns to get her jacket and purse she hears someone else saying no the same way Leila just did and a few seconds later a body collided into hers so that she kind of fell back into the chair she was sitting in.

Disorientated, Piavri only noticed Leila's hysterical laugh and soon after, the constant apology of the person who fell on her. "Sorry, sorry, sorry...", she hears him say over and over without ever seeing his face. "I am so sorry", he says as he tries to get up but fails and lands on her lap again. Suddenly, Piavri started to laugh as well. Obviously confused, the person who fell on her stopped apologizing and turns to look at Piavri. "It's okay", she says still laughing and putting her hair out of her face since it was all over the place. She calms down eventually and he also gets up without falling over again. Before he could say anything else, another man appears behind him and hugs the guy from behind, clearly drunk.

"Zaaaaaaain, I don't want to go hooooooooooome", he yelled loudly and kind of startled the guy whose name was probably Zain. Sighing deeply, Zain tries to get out of the grip, but fails. Just as Zain wanted to say something, Leila was jumping up and screaming "Amir?".

Turns out that Amir and Leila were childhood friends and they only found out now that they are studying at the same place. They haven't seen each other for years since they lost contact after Leila's family moved away. However, both of them were not in the state of talking to each other in a decent way at the moment, since Amir was not able to hold himself upon his own and Leila was too giggle to hold a serious conversation.

So, Zain and Piavri team up together to kind of make them leave with a promise to meet the day after. When they were at the parking lot at the car, Zain turns to Piavri, apologizing again for his stupid friend and says see you tomorrow.

As Leila was being a too overactive drunk, it was impossible for Piavri to let him know that she won't be in Lucknow tomorrow morning.
