Jenna's POV

Waking up in complete darkness, I heard rustling in the other beds. Confused, I sat up. Wasn't this supposed to be their day off? Maybe Management still had work even when the boys got to relax. That was why they were getting up early. But then someone opened the door separating the bunk room from the kitchen. The light streams in and momentarily blinds me. Blinking spots out of my vision, I get up and climb down the ladder. I peeked under the sheet that blocks out the light. Laura wasn't there. Which meant I would be spending another day wearing the same clothes. Yuck! I had just turned around and was starting towards the door in the darkness when someone bumped into me.

"Sorry." I said to the stranger. "Watch where your going." She replied with a thick British accent. "What are you doing standing here in the dark anyway?" I decide it's best to just tell the truth. "I'm new here and I'm looking for Laura. She's been showing me around." The girl laughs loudly. "Who? That slut? Come out to the kitchen so we can tell you a bit about her." She takes me by the arm and pulls me out to the kitchen. "Well, you're much prettier that your voice suggested." Unsure of how to take this, I say, "Uhh thanks."

Four pretty girls about 20 years old are sitting at the kitchen table, intently tapping their cellphones. One  girl with obviously-dyed blond hair is standing next to the door talking into an earpiece in her ear. "Yes, we're all up." She gives a little wave to the girl who had dragged me out of the bunk area. "Yes, yes. Yes! Alright we'll be out to help the boys in 10." She has one of those annoying snobby voices. I was already starting to get a feel for why Laura didn't like any of them. "Hi, and who are you?" The blond asks me. She glances down at my wrinkled jeans and t-shirt I'm wearing. "You're new here." It isn't a question, it's a statement.

I pause to remember my "cover" name. "I'm Sarah Bond. I've been working here for about a week now." I extend my hand to the blond and she takes it, her long, manicured fingers scratching the inside of my palm. I put my face into a fake smile, luckily I'm used to dealing with bitches like this. High school was full of them. The girl who had pulled me into the kitchen has long brown hair with beautiful mermaid waves. She turns to me, smiles and puts a hand on my shoulder. "I was just telling Sarah a bit about her mentor, Laura." She stresses the word "mentor."

"Uck, Laura." The blond fakes a gag. "She is such a slut. I don't know why she doesn't get fired." "What's so bad about her?" I ask. "She throws herself at all the boys. She even slept with Harry. It's disgusting and shouldn't be allowed." She looks down at her long nails.  One of the girls at the table looks up from her phone. "So disgusting! We told our manager but she always acts so innocent he believed her when she said they were't involved." She flips her dark red hair over shoulder and stares intently at her phone again. I'm starting to get the feeling that all the girls are just jealous of Laura.

Suddenly Laura opens the door and walks into the kitchen. All the girls at the table look up from their phones at once. "Laura!" The blond says with fake enthusiasm. "We were just talking about you!" "Oh were you Lauren! I'm so touched!" Laura plays along. "Yes, we were just saying hello to your little friend here. I wonder why Sam chose you to show her around instead of me?" "Hmm." Laura puts a finger to her chin in fake thought. "Maybe he thought I was a bit more responsible. I never get drunk and fool around." "What!?" Lauren puts a hand to her chest and  fake gasps. "I never!" "Sure, sure." Laura rolls her eyes. "Come on, Louis' waiting for you... Sarah." "Wait one second," The brown haired girl grabs my arm. "Why is Louis waiting for you." "Oh he just wants to get to know me a bit better." I shrug my shoulders. " We're going to hang out a bit today on their day off. No big deal." "Well tell him I said hi!"

She tightens her grip on my arm. "My names Kiera, and you make sure you tell him! I don't see why you should get to spend the day with him. I've been working here for 2 years now and we never get alone time! And you only just started working here!"

There is a knock at the door and Lauren says in an annoyed voice, "Come in!" Louis walks into the kitchen. He's wearing a tight "The Fray" t-shirt and black skinny jeans. And his favorite pair of black vans. "Louis hi!" Hi Louis!" "How are you today Louis!" All the girls at the table jump up and start pestering him. They're almost as bad as the fans. "I'm great thanks!" He's practically ignoring them and is looking straight into my eyes. "Ready to go, Jenna?" "You mean Sarah, silly." I say.

Turning to Kiera, "See, he doesn't even know my name." I wave to all the girls. "See you all later!" Then I walk up to Louis and put my arm around him. "Wait! Wait Louis, you remember me right! I'm Eleanor!" The red-haired girl walks up to us. "Uhh nope, sorry." Louis says putting his left arm over my shoulders. He guides me out of the trailer with Laura following right behind us.

Once we get farther from the trailer, Laura says, "You really shouldn't have done that. They may be stupid, but I'm sure they've figured out you too are dating. Then they'll go to Sam." I turn around to smile at Laura and say, "Don't worry, no one will believe them anyway." "Ready go have a day full of fun?" Louis asks. A limo pulls up in front of us. "Very ready."
