Why? I thought he loved me. I ran and ran I ended up at the old church at the end of town. I looked up and jumped I landed on the roof of it 4 stories up. I sat there and cried for a good two hours. By then im sobbing dry tears. "Look who made it back" I'm on my feet, turned around, crouched into a defensive stance, and teeth bared before 2 seconds pass. Before I see who it is, then i stand straight up and run into his arms "Ian, I missed you"
"Hey little butterfly, I missed you too"

"What have you been up to?"

"Oh you know same old same old!"
"I feel bad for all the men and women in Riverland"

"OH come on i'm not that bad" he laughs before pulling back to get a good look at me. Ian and me have been friends for a long time. Drew thinks he will try to take advantage of me, but I won't, mainly because he's just that nice of a guy. He put his arms around my shoulders and urged me to sit down on the nailed down couch," Now who has broken my little butterfly's heart?" of course he'd see it. I mean that is his gift after all, seeing people's emotions. "Her boyfriend found out she was a vampire and called her evil." My face fell and Ian comforting arm left because it was pulled away. I new Andrew was going to find me, but i wish he'd let Ian's arm stay. Ian always had this way of making me feel calmer and loved. "HE SAID WHAT TO MY BUTTERFLY, is this true?" All I do is nod, I don't trust my voice enough to say it. "Don't for some reason she wants him alive" I look up startled at Ian, he has a cold mask on over his face. I push up and go up and hug him. His arms automatically go around me.

He squeezes me before he pushes me off of him and Andrew punches him. I force my wall on Ian immediately so that Andrew can't hurt him." what are you doing?" I scream at him. Andrew walks to the edge of the roof, "You know how I feel about him touching you." before jumping off and running back to the house. I walk up to Ian and help him up, I lead him to the couch and offer up my wrist. Vampires heal super fast, if i don't give him my blood he will heal in about an hour. But when we have another vampire's blood coursing through us we heal even faster. When Ian bites into me he holds my wrist lightly and the pleasure hits fast. That is what happens when we bite someone we give off this chemical that makes the brain think pleasure. Since Ian is only 1000 he won't heal as fast as I will. HE lets go of my wrist and by the time his nose is healed my wrist is healed also. "I'm so sorry" I apologize, I wasn't think when I ran into his arms. "It's okay little butterfly" I touch his nose and since he doesn't wince I assume it's healed fully. I go over to the mini fridge and grab two blood bags. One for me and one for him, once I give him his he pops the top off and starts drinking. I take my time with mine, its type B and it's my favorite. "Why do you want to keep the bastard alive?"

"I don't want to see anymore bloodshed."

"You realize how ridiculous that sounds coming from a vampire right?"

"I know but this town has had enough bloodshed and anyway, he's right i am evil"
" LIttle butterfly you are the furthest thing from evil. Do u remember the reason you got the nickname little butterfly?"

"Of course i do"

It was a summer day in 1918. We were in a small town and Ian had just became a vampire. He had no mentor so he didn't know we could live peacefully and not feed on humans. I was on my way home one night and walking down an ally these butterflies were stuck in a upside down jar I lifted the jar to let them free but one was hurt. I pricked my finger with a needle I alway carried with me and fed it some of my blood. It flew and flew higher than any of the rest. I remember turning around to see Ian to see him looking at me with confusion. "May I help you sir?"
