"There is nothing that needs to be said"
"Babe I'm sorry okay? I know I messed up I was just so upset about you and that guy"
"Don't try and justify what you did Tre and I did nothing compared to what you did hell we didn't do anything" I shouted
"Baby Listen I'm sorry Okay I know I was wrong" he tried to sooth my arms but I pushed away
"Just leave"
"No look I came here because I miss you and I want to be with you only you"
I wanted to cry but I held my tears I'd be damned if allow him to know I about to
"You said you needed time, space did that include sucking another girl's face off?"
"You're right Okay? And I am deeply sorry I was angry and I know it isn't an excuse but I want you to know that I'll give you space but I won't give up" and with that he kissed my cheek and left.
I needed to clear my head so I decide to go and clear my mind by going on a run. Getting in my run gear throwing my hair into a ponytail and heading out. I headed down the path lightly jogging for the start heading to a bench to stretch after that I started to jog by the lake until this guy bumped into me.Turns out that guy was Tre.
"Damn my bad" he stated
"It's fine" I hissed
He started to jog away
"I'm sorry"
He stopped and turned around
"Sorry for what"
"For always being so hostile towards you, I guess since high school I've had some unresolved issues with you"
"It's all good, look uh we could run together if that's coo?"
"Yeah sure" I'd lightly smiled

"I told beat you" I laughed
"No you were a literally a mile away I totally won which means you owe me lunch" he laughed back
"Fine but I only lost because I tripped over
that huge rock" I stated
"Layla it was a pebble"
"Nooo that rock was huge"
We laughed together, we ended up at a little cafe just outside of campus yes we ran that far. We sat outside since it was a nice day the waitress took our order and we talked while waiting for our food
"I didn't know you run, why didn't you try out for track back in high school?" I questioned
"Uhh my dad wouldn't be okay with that" he scratched his neck
"He doesn't think sports are exactly life worthy I guess he just wanted me to focus on academics that's all"
"What about your mom?How is she?" I remembered meeting his mom briefly one time when I went to his house and she was leaving with his dad for a show
"She uh died a year ago actually"
"Oh I'm sorry"
"It's okay you didn't know"
"So it's just you and your dad now?"
"Yeah him and his work" he laughed
"Well since we're talking about families my dad didn't even want me to major in dance he doesn't consider a career"
"I didn't know you were majoring in dance"
"Yeah you know it's more than a passion it's my life you know?"
"Yeah but does your dad know that you actually majored in dance?"
"Yeah it took a little convincing"
"Oh yeah what did you say? Maybe it'll work on my dad too" he joked
"I uh actually he cheated on my mom, and I told him he was in no place to tell me about my choices and life when he couldn't make the right ones" I said lowly
"Oh shit my bad I didn't mean to joke about it"
"Oh your fine, like you said before you didn't know"
It got quiet for a bit. Until our food came.
"Are you sure your boyfriend would be okay with this?" He questioned with a concern look
"We are currently on a break right now"
"It's funny because we're in college, we're away from our parents. We're considered adults yet we still go through the same depressing shit we should be living it up." He stated
"Yeah your right! Hey what are you doing tonight?"
"Nothing major why wassup?"
"My friend Alexis invited me to this club tonight you should come" I smiled
"Like a date?"
"No not a date"
"It's totally a date" he claimed while smiling
I shook my head and continued to eat. Tre walked me back to my dorm because it was getting dark.
"Alright I'll see you in a hour?" He asked
"Yeah see you"
I walked into my dorm to be confronted by Bella
"Was that Tre? ARE YOU CHEATING ON STEFAN?"
"What no! It's not what it looks like" I told her everything that's transpired these last couple of days
"Wow where have I been? I've been the worst bestfriend" she hugged me
"No you haven't I just never said anything I was embarrassed and hurt" I replied
"Well fuck Stefan he doesn't deserve you, I say you go out with Tre tonight"
"We're going as friends, plus I'm not really over Stefan yet"
"We'll follow your heart" she smiled
I agreed and started to get ready for my friendly outing with Tre I took s shower and got dress.

"Okay Bestie you look good!"
"Thanks" I smiled as I looked at myself through the mirror I did lol pretty good but
I felt nervous for some reason. I heard a knock on the door I knew it was him

"Tre outfit"
I opened the door, and when I was in a trance I was in a trance. The way his body showed, and the way he licked his lips god help me.
"Uh you ready?"
"Yeah yeah just a sec" I went told Bella goodbye and headed out
"You know we're kind of matching?" He announced
I looked at outfits and noticed they matched
"I didn't notice" I responded
We got into his car and headed to the place using the directions Alexis gave me
We pulled up at club the line was super long I got a text from Alexis to tell the security guard we were on the V.I.P list and we did he took our names and let us right in. We walked in and it was packed we headed towards V.I.P where another security guard took our names and we headed upstairs when we saw Alexis
"Heeey you made it!"
"Yeah thanks for inviting me"
Then I saw her eyes land on Tre
"Well who's the handsome man you didn't mention a boyfriend?" She smiled batting her eyelashes
"Oh we're-"
"Just excited to be here, she didn't mention me because we were in a argument at the time and she sometimes likes to be petty you know" he responded and put his arm around me
"Well then, come over here and meet everyone else" we followed Alexis to her section and met a few of her friends
"Okay this is Aaliyah, Olivia, Cash, and Lucas" she announced
"Guys this is Layla and her boyfriend.?"
"Tre" Tre smiled hugging my tightly
"Hi" Olivia stated while batting her eyelashes at Tre. Did she not just hear Alexis say he's MY boyfriend? Even though he really wasn't she didn't know that.
"Let's get some drinks" Alexis responded breaking the somewhat tension.
