yerim was sweating so badly. jungkook had already deleted his post, but she saw everything already, from the picture to the caption.

she heard about jisoo's passing, and the fact that the late jisoo was jonghyun's ex-girlfriend is really terrifying. yerim is pretty sure that taehyung is involved in this, too. she could easily notice on taehyung's obvious crush towards joohyun.

now, what? the fact that they killed jisoo-- yerim is totally speechless. this proves on how they both are fearless and might continue to hurt others.

"hello, jonghyun sunbae? can i meet you? i have something important to tell you."

jonghyun was surprisingly calm upon hearing the news, which surprises yerim.

"...should i back out?" he questions, as his pair of eyes were reflecting both guilt and worry, which confuses yerim further more.

"what do you mean, sunbae?"

"or should i fight against him and win this game?"

"--but joohyun noona would get hurt..." his voice gets softer and softer. "not only joohyun noona, even minhyun, jinyoung, and even you, yerim."

jonghyun's eyes were getting teary, and yerim could only stare with mouth agape in pure confusion.

she had always respected him, and she had always thought of him as a great man with no flaws, considering his personality and looks.

yerim lets out a soft smile. she could clearly see how much he loves her beloved unnie, and she was thankful for that.

"sunbaenim..." she hesitantly called him out. "i don't know what you're going through right now, but..." she took a deep breath. "...whatever it is, please don't leave joohyun unnie. she was totally broken when you got beaten months ago, and i don't want to think on how she would react if you actually leave her."

jonghyun nodded softly at yerim's request. "i won't leave her." he says firmly. "i'd give my everything to protect her..."
