the ceremony is over. her friends have all went home. her family, too, went home already.

and there stands a beautiful girl wearing a long red coat over her uniform to withstand the cold weather.

back in the days, she used to have an elder brother whom loves her and protects her with all his heart. however, she lost him as he was involved in a car accident in australia, a place where he continued his studies.

she waited for him, but her brother, kim taeho, never comes back...

it feels like a dejavu.

there, yerim lost all her hopes already.

he won't come... and they won't last.

it's a waste, though. she loves him a lot. it is really a waste for them to end just like this.

but what can she do? she tried to hold on but he keeps on letting go. what should she do?

"ugh forget it, i'll just go home--"

she stopped when she saw such a familiar figure, that one figure whom she missed a lot, whom she loves a lot, entering her high school from the entrance gate with a bouquet of flowers and two cups of ramen in his hold.

she could only stand there, unmoving, as she keeps on staring at him.

he put the ramen and flower aside at the nearest table, before opening his arms wide. "don't you want to hug me?"

without thinking twice, she ran with all her strenght before junping into his embrace, as she burst into tears. "you came!"

"i wouldn't miss it for the world, yerim." he hugged her tight, as he uses his right hand to stroke her long hair gently, calming her down.

"i thought you wouldn't come... i thought you're leaving me just like that... i thought--"

"--hey!" he pulls away before cupping her fluffy cheeks, making her to look at him. "i had to fight two monsters in order to have you, i would never give you up, yerim." he wiped her dry tears.

"let's eat before the ramen gets overcooked, i know you're hungry!"

he did come... and they surely will last ❤
